I see everything in dallas has changed. I was born in Brooklyn , NY. I lived in illinois before then. I moved to dallas from chicago in 1998 arriving new year 1999.
Los Angeles needs to expand it's subway / light rail system and the State of Idaho needs to have a high speed rail system running from Nampa-Caldwell via Boise , Mountain Home , Shoshone , Pocatello to Salt Lake City , Utah .
Here in Los Angeles they're expanding one of the existing lines and also kinda recently opened the expo line that goes from dtla to Santa Monica. We're expanding some lines and stops in downtown and also a line that will connect easier to the airport. So we're getting there; it'll just be in another 10 years for all the construction to complete. Except for historic east coast cities, LA wasn't built like NYC and Chicago...it was built for automobiles.
I do love the chime on the Skylink. You would have loved the old Vought Air Trains that DFW had back in the day up until Skylink opened in 2005. It almost was like a transit system at the airport with different lines. Those had a cool voice with a retro sounding chime. I miss it, but Skylink is much faster. Those old trains would not exceed 20 mph. I just have so many good memories riding them as a child, especially when I lived in Wisconsin and we used to connect at DFW to travel to Lubbock.
@@Skyvator92 I’ve heard a lot about the Air tran. I would have loved to ride that train but sadly it was removed before I was even born so I didn’t get to ride it. At least I got to ride the original elevators in terminals B, C and A that I heard used to go down to where that train used to be when I was a kid

The Dallas DART is really nice. Dallas, Chicago, and Miami have some of the nicest transit systems.
Atlanta does too, especially coming from the airport
i rode this when i visited dallas. i wanted to stay but it was for visiting a church. cool city.

Wish I rode more often.
OK, so apparently I'm not the only one who found the DART ticket machines a PITA to use.
These trains sound a lot like the T1 trains on the Toronto subway.

my dad works on the DART train
Dallas , Pittsburgh , Seattle , Buffalo , Newark , Boston , Philadelphia
and San Francisco are the only cities that have underground light rail .
iluvmusic62 o
this is the only underground station on the line.
Wrong, you forgot Los Angeles
I'd like to see Houston finally have a subway .
The dart only has one underground station
I visited Dallas in June. The DART ticket machines are poorly designed and not user friendly. And often broken.
Anch'io voglio andarci. Chi mi ci porta?
I love to ride the dart train I live in DFW area
It's not taking his card bc he's doing it to fast

I think this train is cool. Although I still think the DFW Skylink train is cooler though. In my opinion it has a cooler male voice on it

I hate those machines. They take up too much time to figure out.
Voglio andare a vivere a Dallas. Chi mi aiuta? Sono italiano e parlo anche inglese. Contattatemi per favore. Grazie

Don't ride BART in San Francisco , it sucks !
Ikr
It does not suck in my opinion, I’m sure it helps people go where they need to go.
Bella anche San Francisco.
