  • STRAIGHT POOL! What’s more exciting than watching the Finals of any competition? Germany’s Joshua Filler, 20, the newly crowned China Open champion was up against Scotland’s Jayson Shaw, 29, the newly crowned U.S. Open 9-Ball champion. Of course, straight pool is a completely different game with different skill sets, yet both of these players have proven themselves at this discipline. So now, we’ll watch them compete for the 2017 Make-It-Happen 14.1 Invitational title.
Ed Liddawi and Danny DiLiberto scope the action.

Not that it really matters I guess, but didn’t Jayson win the draw? Correct me if I’m wrong but Josh, didn’t hit the rail, so how would’ve he passed the break to Jayson if he lost?…?

C who is this speaking with David diliberto I don't know who he is but he really shouldn't have an opinion about pool because she obviously don't know how to play

That's only Pat Fleming, and you're right...he can't play a lick of straight pool! Why don't you grab $20K or so and head on over to New Jersey to play him some? 😎

Can you please upload more classic matches? Like with Sigel or Varner? I would highly appreciate that.

I'm betting the reason he shoots left handed is he is left eye dominant. You see right handers who are severely left eye dominant and it looks so ungainly and uncomfortable because they hold their heads well over the cue vertical centerline, sometimes with their left eye directly over the cue. It looks like they'd need a neck massage after every match, to me. Just guessing, but I think I've got at least a fair chance of being right (as opposed to left :-/).

I play righthanded and right eye dominant, but lefthanded. Your explanation is spot on in my case.
