High Profile TikTok Accounts Hacked?

TIKTOK HACK
A number of high-profile TikTok accounts have been targeted in a cyber attack. Yeah, Sony and CNN, plus celebs like Paris Hilton, have been swept up in the cyber attack, according to TikTok. Well hackers have been sending malware through DMs on the TikTok the app and the scary thing is that users don't need to download, click, or respond to anything to be affected. All they have to do, is just open the message. The hacked accounts don't appear to be posting content and it's unclear how many have been affected. This isn't the first time TikTok's been hacked. Back in 2023, nearly 700,000 accounts were compromised before Türkiye's presidential elections. Which allowed hackers to access user's private information and take over their accounts.
STATE OF ORIGIN
Game 1 of this year's State of Origin was a massive upset. The home ground heroes, New South Wales, were down to just 12 players for more than 70 minutes of the match, following the fastest send off in Origin History for debutant Joseph Sua'ali'i for a high tackle on Queensland's Reece Walsh in the eighth minute. The blues fought on with some promising breakthroughs, but couldn't keep up with the Maroons' charge. Ending the match down 38-10, and Queensland one-nil in the series.
STARLINER LAUNCH
They've done it! Boeing's Starliner is finally in space! After months of setbacks and several launch attempts abandoned on the launch pad, nothing got in the way of astronauts Barry WiIlmore and Sunita Williams last night. As they piloted Starliner's first ever crewed test flight to the International Space Station. Starliner still has a few tests to get through in space before NASA can certify it for routine missions, which they hope it'll do alongside SpaceX's crew dragon.
ECO-DETECTIVES
A bunch of zoos around Australia and New Zealand have just joined forces to create Eco Detectives. See, experts say 44,000 species globally are threatened with extinction, and that Aussie wildlife is facing big threats like invasive species. So, this game's goal is to teach kids about these issues and inspire the conservationists of the future! When you're not running into crocs or kangaroos, you'll be busy on a series of quests to restore biodiversity in different biomes, or habitats.
IKEA HIRING IN ROBLOX
First up, to a rather unusual job opportunity. IKEA has announced it's launching a new store on Roblox, and is hiring real people to work there! For $25 an hour, workers will be asked to serve up virtual meatballs at the bistro, or mince around the various furniture aisles and help customers. But there's a catch. You have to be 18 and over to apply, and live in the UK or Ireland.
JUNK FEST
Now to Katherine in the NT, where thousands have turned out for the annual Junk Festival. You see, Katherine, being a small town and all doesn't have curb side recycling. So residents are left with not much choice when it comes to their yellow bin things. And while folks have been calling for that to change, in the meantime does mean we get to see some pretty creative fits.
FASTEST DRONE
And finally, is this the fastest drone in the world? Created by South African UA-camr, Luke Maximo Bell, it clocks an average top speed of 480 kays per hour earning itself a world record title, for the fastest ground speed by a battery-powered remote-controlled quadcopter.
