When I was a kid, my dad called my mom "The Lone Rearranger" because she was always switching up our furniture and decor. It really does keep things fresh and new! :)

That is Hi-larious! I'm the type that if I like the way something looks I can live with it for a long time but we got a couple of pieces of new furniture that sparked some big changes as I mentioned above and I decorate for every major holidays and seasons just about.

Great job! The only thing I would change is the wingback chair and side table to the other side of the fireplace. That way you balance the furniture out and enclose the living room area. But, it looks very nice. Thanks for sharing. Stay blessed. ❤️Ara

I really enjoyed this video. Your channel is one of my favorites. Everything is so pretty and fresh and real with the kids stuck at home. I remember those years, my kids are almost 29 and 25 now and my grandson is 9. Now all the messes are made by me, Lol!
I did do a switch up. I never really knew what to do with my built-ins so this Christmas I did something completely different with a lot of little and medium houses and a medium sized Nativity.
Now I have beautiful garlands, candle sticks birds, just a lot of vignettes that I think turned out perfectly and I really love them. I also did a more Farmhouse style on my buffet, moved my bakers rack to the dining room and arranged and organized my pantry and added a new piece of furniture to my kitchen and made it more Farmhouse.
For your TV console, it would look perfect in your space if it was little distressed gray or just black. But if it was me, I’d do a turquoise distressed look... but more a green than blue turquoise. ❤️ Whatever you chose, I’m sure it’ll look amazing!
I love this style of video where I can see you working through the brain blocks and looking up stuff of Pinterest and sorting it out by trial and error!
I think I would paint the cabinet a light sage green! Sage green is one of my favorite colors in a room. In my last house I had that color in so many rooms and found it very calming!

I love the picture above your fireplace. It's beautiful! Everything looks good. I would suggest painting the television console a gray. Was going to say charcoal gray but the more I think about it, maybe a lighter shade of gray. Take care, stay safe!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE it. The table in the corner with its washed wood look goes so well with the gray pillows and the lighter color scheme. You have such a wonderful knack for decorating!
A robin egg blue would be really pretty there. Or even a nevy blue would be really pretty to bring contrast back to that little spot. !!!! Love everything!!!!

I would paint the TV console a lite country green.. I love the piece in that room it added a since of home, I would definitely get a bigger new rug and bring in the green color if that is the color you choose. Yes a rug would look good under the coffee table. I love all the changes you made.
