This guys & gals is what u call a “Great Basketball Coach” or maybe I should say “A Great Coach”. WOW what a press conference. That’s not coaching speech, that’s not telling me what I want to hear, that’s almost Saban level !!!
Good defense for the first 30 min….thats about it. No offensive ability shown by anyone!! Pretty sad that we blew achane at home knowing how tough our schedule is going forward
Not sure why they stopped attempting 3s in most of the 2nd half. And not sure why they didn't try to get Grant involved earlier. He could drive almost at will. Could have gotten Ole Miss in foul trouble early
What terrible audio. I like to hear the coaches talk. Sounds like he's in a cave. Also, I'd like to hear the questions. Auburn use to be the same terrible way. Lucky they figured out, there are us in the state that do love college basketball. Sounds like Charlie Brown "Peanuts" .. When the teacher was talking. WHOOOWWW.. WHOOWWW.. WHOOWWW.
There are too many chefs in the kitchen. You have 3 legitimate point guards on the court at the same time, and all 3 are looking to take over as well as looking for leadership...It makes for confusion and stale offense. Last year there was Sears and everyone else knew it. Or Estrada and everyone else knew it. This year it's Sears, Philon, and Holloway all taking point at the same time. It doesn't mesh well some nights
@ronniewilson4798 It's so obvious. And I thought that once they got Grant more involved, Ole Miss could only foul him or get out of his way and watch him score. They should have done that earlier and then kicked out for 3s if Grant got doubled. I truly believe that Bama is the better team and would win at least 7 out of every 10 matchups between Bama and Ole Miss. Bama could have realistically won that game by 15+ easily
Why do all of his teams struggle to pass the 🏀? And why are we passing up wide open 3s? Saw that happen 2-3 times, once by Mark towards the beginning of the second half when we were searching for something to go right. Got out hustled and out played!
Bama looked pathetic tonight, just pathetic. They looked like boys playing with men. Bama didn't have enough muscle to hold onto the ball and not enough brain mentality to stop the ridiculous turnovers. I love coach Oats, but his teams will NEVER master the turnover situation. Every one of his teams is always near the bottom 30 teams in turnovers... out of 364 teams. It's horrendous. If Oats could somehow figure out turnovers, his teams would literally barely ever lose.
Keep moving forward Coach. Sometimes it gets worst before it gets better.
Tough loss keep growing and getting better finish strong RTR
Bama beats Ole Miss 7 out of 10 times tho. Just the worst shooting night for Bama in years

love coach oates pointing out ORBs... Hubie Brown taught me years ago, you need 12 a night or you have no chance.
"Disgusting" is a great word for it coach

@paidtourist6563 The same Grant Nelson with the mid air jump turnovers??
Turnovers, Turnovers, turnovers always the case with this team!!
Exactly what I said!
Pitiful effort tonight form the team
You should have let Cliff play more to help on the boards and play defense. Grant is not as good playing the 5.
Cliff has looked out of sorts all year playing for Bama.

@paidtourist6563 Now this comment is spot on, 👌 couldn't have said it better!!

Bc he isn’t a great coach. He literally said he didn’t want his team to shoot mid range and anyone who knows ball knows how dumb that sounds

Hotty toddy
I was embarrassed and ashamed of the effort
Absolutely disgraceful...
Oats offense is THE problem....
Looks like a beaten human being
Oates is so overrated 😂
