@@loganpinner5212 dude right? I saw this coming from the time they announced that he’d be back for 2024. To be honest I’m surprised he lasted this long. Wtf kind of program is Ryno running for him to be literally dog tired after a heat race…….
Last year I told Kellen "Do you think it would be cool to do an off season race where riders are randomly selected to reenact a real pro and wear their skins on stream? Would this even be possible? I mean how cool would it be to commentate a race but acting like it's real riders names but you have no idea who's actually who? Lets say it's a random drawing and Braden Carter gets Cooper Webb. He would wear Webb's skins in the server and you would commentate the race like it's Cooper Webb. Then lets say someone like Leclair gets Eli Tomac, he would wear Tomac's skins and run his name" I've been wanting this to happen for a while.
I don't think people realize how impressive the time and effort to make this many demo replays that are also mindful of all other demo positions. The fact they aren't weaving in and out of each other, especially off the start, is nothing short of amazing.
@@OfficialChickenJoe It's made by combining 22 separate demos together. So basically I went into singleplayer and ran a 10+1 then saved the demo. Then I picked a different gate and raced against the first demo without making contact with the other rider and being mindful that there would be 20 other riders added in after. I then spliced those 2 demos together so it looks like both riders are racing each other. then I pick a new gate again and race against those 2 riders while being mindful that there would be 19 other riders added in afterwards then I spliced the 3rd rider in with the other 2. I repeated this process until I had a full 22 rider main event. The reason it's so difficult is because in a demo you can ride through anyone without any collisions but to make it look like they were racing I had to predict where other riders were going to be before they were even in the demo while also avoiding riding through anyone in front of me or being rode through by someone behind me. I used a trick to make it look like Chance Hymas made contact with Chris Blose off the start. It took a few tries but I went in slow motion frame by frame in the free camera and put a small vertical bump in front of Hymas' front wheel as he was about to make contact with Blose. Hymas hit the bump and I pressed the step button three times while the game was paused which moves the game forward 3 frames. Then I went back into the editor and removed the bump.
I kind of don’t understand what’s meant by “spliced together 22 main events”, was this race not done in 1 take? Can someone explain how this was done in a little more detail?
Demo splicing is taking multiple replay files and combining them. So this is one person riding as all 22 riders, 22 different times, and combining it all together. It’s a ton of work, and a huge shoutout to Joseph Pilsner for putting it all together
These take a long time to make. This demo took me around 6 months to splice together. I could probably put together another 22 rider 10+1 in 2 weeks if that's all I did for 2 weeks but I don't have that kind of time nor do I want to do that.
Should do a 250 & 450 race of the upcoming race of the week instead of going back an entire year. Example: 250 & 450 race at the 2024 Arlington race. You 2 definitely call a better race than Ricky Carmichael & Leigh Diffey tho.
This is truly amazing and I’m glad you guys were able to do, Pilsner is such a G for putting the time into this demo
Forkner crash checks out
Dude I was watching the race and this video right now (Round 7 Arlington) and he just threw himself into concrete. This aged like goat milk

@@MoistureMagnet it’s the Ryno and Johnny Hopper WFO program.. he damn near should just retire after tonight.

@@MoistureMagnet Heard that he lost a contact lens on the race, cant imagine racing without glasses.
This was actually really cool. Also, I think that shows that the 1:1 tracks can be raced pretty well. Especially if people try to keep it clean.
Why doesn't the MotoOption Championship run on 1:1 scale tracks like this? The track textures look amazing, very well done all around.
I absolutely love the idea!
Coolest thing I've ever seen on mxs. The 1:1 scale looks so good on camera
Why did it have to be AF on lap one😭💀
This is so sick. Would love to see more of these!

FORKNER DOWN, the realism is uncanny
This is quality entertainment. This does such a good job of showing how ahead of the curve Sim still is in regards to realism.

Wait so how is it done? I play sim but I’m confused on what he did to make it

It will be really cool if you guys could do a whole series of this but that probably not possible with the Mx simulator championship rn
