They had it. It's just this song that didn't get to where it should've been. But that's cuz they were SUPER BIG and almost every song they did became a worldwide super hit. To this day they remain the greatest boy band and today's kpop is largely inspired by them and other such bands. Around the year 2000 boy and girl bands were the thing.
I think one of their best albums has to be this. So fucking underrated. This album deserve much more. BSB forever.

It's crazy how this is considered one of the newer BSB songs, even though the gap between this and their debut(12 years) is lesser than the gap between this song and the present day(14 years). Crazy how time flies by, but glad how BSB is still together and they are stronger than they were in this album, since Kevin has returned since then.

God help them if they ever lose Howie. He makes me think of the Bee Gees Maurice. While Robin and Barry had all the leads, after Mo passed away, you could absolutely tell there was something important when just the two of them sang. Yes it was still good but it was NEVER ............ Right, if that makes sense. When Kevin left, they were still good but we could all tell , just like on this song and others without him, that the entire package wasn't there, that some something was missing.

A proud 40 year old fan of their timeless music
I’m proud of this band. Nick was the youngest of the band and he had friends that were father figures to him. They always had each other’s back’s through the personal things outside of the music. A top notch band as always. Well done to all of them individually and as a band.
One of their best songs in my opinion. It even has a country feel to me where I feel they could transition into that genre if they really wanted to. I'd rather they just dabble in it like they do sometimes. Almost 2019 and 25 years strong, new album on the way, still have dope harmonies, and they're just a tight-knit humble group. I still dig em. I would definitely catch a concert if they ever come around my way. Their longevity is as long as they want it to be. Not every music act can say that. Respect.
As time goes by, their voices are getting better and better!

Acho que tudo é questão do quanto a gravadora investe na divulgação. No Brasil investiram em Inconsolable e mesmo assim foi pouco, mas foi bem mais do que outros países. Helpless She Smiles pelo menos passava na MTV e no TVZ do Multishow, pq não tocou nas rádios. Inconsolable tocou bem. Os singles de This Is Us foram a mesma coisa e os dois últimos singles de Never Gone também Só programas de videoclipes, nada de tocar nas principais rádios.

I have Gone through All albums and rated each song. Personaly. And This came out worst of All. Btw I did the european albums. And it fell behind self titled from 96. But some songs stick out. This is ok. But Unsuspecting Sunday afternoon is a masterpiece. And Treat Me Right is awesome. My fav albums turned out to be Black and Blue and This Is Us.

Kevin Richardson needs more solos. He has a beautiful voice and amazing talent that goes far too often lost in the background. Its not fair. I always thought of this band as my band of brothers. That they were always there for each other.

@@rocky20192 when they did an interview in Australia (I think it was Australia) Kevin said he left to work on his marriage. The interviewer asked if they are ok because they broke up. They confirmed that they didn't break up, and then Kevin said what he said. He was there for the next album and since then so everything worked out for the better.
