Thanks Chuck. Life is about the simple pleasures in life. I wish you continued happiness in Thailand with your beautiful wife Paige and her beautiful family. ❤🙏🇺🇸
My thai wife baths Thai style here in our home in Virginia. She also asked me to install hand bidets in all our bathrooms and it really makes a difference, can't imagine not having them now.
That's not a typical Thai house mate ... that's a palace. Great way to live Chuck ..roomy n cooler than most. Shame you lost your river few... but gained a nice friendly neighbor instead. Love that pizza oven idea but you're never how long enough to use it. Thanks for sharing your lifestyle there. Bushyboy Oz.
@@laurencefarrugia431 As a local Thai, I would say yes that is a typical Thai house. And that house is pretty old, a more recently built house would be a lot more modern. Thanks for showing us around. Really enjoyed seeing a Thai house and yours is really beautiful. Looks like a wonderful life you have there. All the best to you and your family👍
Thank you for opening your home. I love the videos you post. You also treat the Thai people with love and respect. I thank you for that. I plan to always do the same. It’s seldom failed me when I travel. Your videos make me laugh and I learn a lot from watching them. Your lifestyle in Thailand is very close to the way I live here in Hawaii. Keep it up. It’s good to see Americans acting with honor and conducting themselves properly. Aloha. Chuck
Hey Chuck thanks for the tour man.I built very large buildings as a union construction worker for 32 years, just outside of Chiang Mai I saw a 12 story building being built on bamboo scaffold!!!!! Levels and tape measures are also optional too. Those roof panels look like asbestos to me.Thanks again.
Thank you for another great vlog, I love all of them. You have good fun family and friends. I love your father-in-law, he is a cool, silent-type, and taking care of business (just like Clint Eastwood in the old western movies). And yet, he also is enjoying life, food, and has a few drinks with the friends and family.
Thank you chuck to invite us to your house. I am looking all your videos since many months and begin to feel like we are good friends. And like your mind about living in thailand and i wish you long time happieness together with your family there.
Thank you for showing us your humble abode and taking the time to do this video. What a lovely house and you have everything you just need !! The ghost and the background were freaky lol
Thanks for showing us your home Chuck I really enjoyed the tour and wow the Temple was spectacular and as i always say you have a fantastic Wife and Family.
Wow! Kudos to you for no AC throughout the house! And screens are inside because it's so dirty outside that your screens would be covered in dust and dirt. Plus it would be hard to clean them. Yeah. I can't live out here without AC 🥵 . And yes, first thing in the bathroom was a shower curtain also 😅
Enjoyed the tour Chuck. We have seen most of this in bits and pieces, but it's good to see it in one vlog. Looking forward to your trip to the US, safe travels.
Thank you, again, for your great video, showing the beautiful, real Thailand. It's December here in Victoria, Australia, and should be lovely and warm, but it's not! Still not warm enough for just a T-shirt. I hope one day to spend much more than a couple of months per year in Thailand, and I hope that when I do, I get to live in a house with friendly little spirits.
Brilliant video Chuck :) You are very kind with your words towards your wife and her family.. it's nice to have an accommodating and welcoming Thai family. The screens in the bathroom is essential, I remember my father-in-law funeral in the country at a monastery, every morning I had to wash out and scrub the toilets to remove the hundreds of dead bugs in there.. not a fun task but screens would seriously reduce the problem.. definitely something I will now be doing at my mother-in-law house.
Thanks for the tour Chuck. Your home is huge, like a hotel. I like that you purchased & upgraded items that helped them with the arrival of the new farang yak and his weird baking. 😂 Think it's time for another large fridge though. 😉
Wow a great peep into your life in Thailand. Loved the part of your Father in law's Tuk Tuk factory, yes sir that video from 6 months ago - may have missed it! Cheers and best to you and all the family!!
Chuck, watching your tour reminded me of the tour I did on my house just last week for someone else channel. I also find the window/screen/bar thing to be strange.
Hey Chuck, if you would like to grow some veges or whatever check out the videos on vertical farming. You could make your own racks and add the LED lighting. Might be a fun project? By the way great video enjoyed it very much
Nice video 👍. Wow, that's a big house. Have lived in a Kanchanaburi and Ban Pong and the houses were small with no outside space, now I live 60km outside Kanchanaburi in the countryside and love it.
Cool! I’d prefer wooden floors only because they’re better on the joints and whole body imo. The tile or concrete floors are like South Florida, USA. It’s hard in bare feet all the time. I guess in Thailand wooden floors might eventually buckle with humidity. That would be a big problem.
Thanks Chuck, interesting to see your home and appreciate the effort it must have taken to make this video. Your home is similar to my wife's family home just outside Bangkok, it too has many of those odd Thai style building characteristics!
Chuck great Video. You should go into the real estate business. Beautiful home and you seem quite happy with the accommodations. You and Paige made many upgrades to the house. I enjoyed the video immensely. Thanks for showing 👍
Chuck, Excellent video tour of the family home and recap of all the improvements you have made. But the add in clips just put this one as one of my favorites. I am sure the way you have made the home better is reflecting on your happiness as well. It is a pleasure to see a person not be fake just to make a video. Having that extended family around each week I am sure brings peace and solice to you. Great job..!!!
I saw at least two places you could have a herb garden. Attach hanging pots or brackets to hold pots on the "fence" in the area you want a brick oven. Do a UA-cam search for "gutter gardens". Looks like they'd get some rain and plenty of light. Build a deck over the garage roof and put pots there. You could also have shelves with grow lights in there.
Chuck ty for sharing, its a lovely home even though I was only in part of it, I felt it was a warm and loving home and a nice place, when in Thailand i try to walk a few residential area some new some old some a mix but you get to see how people there live, they are friendly as well, if you show them respect they show it back! just the way Thai people are!
Great video. Thanks for sharing this view of your home and the explanations. One note though is you really over did the number of ads. I turned off the video after like the 4th ad. One or possibly two are ok for a longer video but too many now. LOL 😂
I see you are a happy man too...living Thai style with family...I said it before...I like the Thai style: people live in a house and not in a museum. A bit of clutter doesn't harm.
Cool got to see a few areas that I haven’t seen before around the house. I don’t mind the geckos but the bugs especially in the bathrooms gets annoying, and so many places have it open around the top even if it’s just a few blocks turned on there side. Thanks for sharing. Many blessings to you, Paige and family🙏 Cheers 🍻
Hi Chuck, I live in Kusuman, just down the road. I have built a house there on 3 rai of land, and now we are farming that land. We also have another 6 rai up near you, we have rice in there at the moment. I am back in the UK for a while until i do some finance issues, and will be back hopefully by Christmas or the New Year. The building of the house was a challenge to say the least, built by Thai locals, but with me directing, and trying to source materials !! It's built "western" style, so like yours, is pretty strong. Maybe, when I'm back, you and Paige come and visit and say Hi ?? Keep up the brilliant videos. Take care both. Russ and Keaoon.

There have been many stories of people I talk with that are electricians or electrical engineers that have almost dies trying to wire stuff up. Very different beast here in Asia.
My inlaws live in Surin. Similar house. I want to know why they do not use dryers? When I ask my wife, she just looks at me with the deer in the head headlight look. She never had a dryer, so does not understand the question. Also, if the moisture is such an issue, why don't they just AC the whole house? AC removes moisture from the air. BTW - I have become addicted to your videos. I watch every morning with my morning coffee.
Hey Chuck.. Enjoyed ur tour very interesting. With my thai gf i needed to get adjusted to 3 cold showers a day. I'm getting a hot water heater , most of her friends have them. I had to buy mosquito spray because I could not take it anymore I offer it to other people but they don't want to use LOL. We r also putting screens in her house.
