  • Cosori has recalled 2 million air fryers that were sold in the United States, Canada, and Mexico for fire and burn hazards. The company urges customers to stop using certain models and also gave instructions on how to receive a free replacement air fryer.

      @@JeremyHill model # CP158-AF 5.8qt. In black and I had no problems with the previous one so I guess this will work well for me also.

    Amazon sent me the information. I had no problem going through the steps. Now I’m just waiting for shipping. I loved this air fryer but I never kept mine plugged in when not in use. I thank Cosori for stepping up to do the right thing considering the recall was so huge.

      I submitted my information to Cosori on February 24th without any problem but today they emailed me wanting me to resubmit some of the same stuff I submit before which I follow their directions to the letter. I did resubmit it again today on March 1st. Just letting everyone know that is a stall tactic but hold on.

      @@graceliamoore883 I had the same problem. I followed the instructions to the letter. But received an email saying there was an error. Saying the photo was not clear or was cropped - neither were true. Also my address wasn't recognized and the 2 alternate options were blank. So I will believe it when I see the replacement.

      @@nancywoo4675 I just checked my emails and received the same message as you did today. So, I resubmitted again. When will we get of this merry go round? All I want is another air fryer to replace the working one I had and now the cord is cut! I know you understand.

    Thank you so very much JH. My replacement I picked (COSORI VeSync Aeroblaze Smart Indoor Grill) arrived today Tuesday 4/18/2023 via FedEx!!!🤗

    Anyone received his replacement ? I did my request on day one, got approved and still nothing, stuck into "Final confirmation" for 3 weeks now. We use this gadget every day. I'm not happy.

      Same. Calling the 800 number is useless as they will give you the runaround.

    How long does the recall take, as i have 1 on the floor with the corxd cut

    I'm getting suspicious cause it's been a month and now I'm hearing that those people are receiving broken replacements....Now I regret cutting the cord, cause I can replace the cord with a heavy duty one myself. Customer Service is doomed in this country!

      Very true … sent mine in twice with cord cut pictures with model number visible … no replacement yet ( if at all ) as of 5/5/23

      Same. They keep rejecting my claim saying I need to provide additional info. Different info requested every time. Been going on for 2 weeks now.

    I have submitted pictures 4 times and they are still telling me they cannot read my batch number. Called and just stay on hold. Very disappointing 😞

    Very disappointed you would say they are doing all that they can to help their customers. My experience with Cosori is they are doing all they can to ignore, stall and simply play games with the customer, in hopes that they just quietly give up and go away. I'm getting the classic cheque's in the mail routine. They say what you want to hear over the phone or e-mail then NOTHIN. They have told me that they're packing the item to be shipped for 2 1/2 months now. It doesn't take 10 weeks to ship items from US. to Canada these days especially if you're trying to appease your customers at large. Sorry but I wholly disagree with your assessment. Gotta wonder if you work for them.

    the pressure safety mechanism is garbage absolutely useless after a year of average use
