    This is literally the dream setup we are looking for. I've used MimoLive for around ten corporate live-streams so far, and every time it performed better than the one before. I really like using all the features (especially the interacting ones), and during the last live-stream I discovered that switching multiple camera's with MimoLive, isn't working out properly for a MacBook Pro (GT 750m). I think this setup is really solid and future proof (in terms of expandability). Also working with the Odyssey7Q+ is a nice feature. So far I only did this by duplicating the source and zooming in manually, which again asks more of the laptop.
    Keep it up!

    Love the setup! Why not take the audio from the mixer into the ATEM directly via XLR? That 4k scrolling was really cool 😎

      Thanks for watching, Gary! My audio configuration may just have been out of habit. I've shot many interviews where I'm running audio into the camera for recording.

    Great PTS info! This is what happens if you have a warehouse of equipment to play with, I guess... ;-)

    If I went with a hardware solution for recording, encoding and streaming (Atem tel studio HD, HyperDeck mini, and web presenter), can mimolive still be used for graphics and control of the Atem and MimoLive using an iPad? Thanks in advance!

      Short answer is "Yes".
      Scenario #1:
      You could feed the output of mimoLive into the HyperDeck and Web Presenter via an UltraStudio Mini Monitor.
      Scenario #2:
      Use an UltraStudio 4K to send key and fill signals from mimoLive, back to the ATEM, and composite your mimoLive generated graphics there. This will make the ATEM the central hub of your production, and the Program Out would feed into the Hyperdeck and Web Presenter from the ATEM. You would have full control of graphics and ATEM switching from mimoLive or an iPad.

    In this video, you are recording your store's livestream that is selling the Roland product. However, you're switching with the BM ATEM. They are both about the same cost, which would you recommend most?

      Hi, Carlos! I make recommendations based on what a person is trying to accomplish, as well as what other equipment they will be using. Every setup is different! If you need some guidance based on your specific needs, feel free to email me at jason@dvestore.com.

    I have a late 2009 27" i7 iMac with 512 of video ram. How much will a setup like this, with the software doing the encoding and recording ,task my system?

      Encoding a live stream shouldn't be a problem, and if you are recording to ProRes, you should be good. If you try to stream and record to H.264 simultaneously, you could overtax the system.

    Nice video and properly demonstrated but it looks like your demonstrations are aimed at American audience as I am watching your video I would like to know the settings In PAL

      @dvestore  7 років тому

      Thanks for watching! For PAL, it should be as simple as setting each device/software to 1080p50, or 1080p25. Most modern video hardware devices and software support both NTSC and PAL standards.
