Yes correct. Sorry if I made a mistake in my wording. Quality is fine on a 24Mpx sensor. I didn’t use it very often but for what I remember I was really pleased by the result. Closed a little for optimum depth of field in architecture images and you have plenty details!
I just got a PC Nikkor 28mm f3.5. quite intrigued to try it for street photography. Although my Nikon D850 is not quite as discreet as my x100v, I think that could work.
28 is better for architecture. I saw some on the second hand market recently. We have only 3 choice for PC lenses without electronic aperture: 28 35 and 85D Good journey in France
Hi I just bought this lens last month, do you know there is a tiny red dot on the focus ring, do you know how to use it, is that for infrared focusing?. I mean if you shooting infrared , then the focus will need to swfit to that red dot. it's is a complicated lens, but i love it.
Hi Henry, Yes this red dot is for infra red films I found this into the user manual of an old camera « The red dot beside the focusing index on most lenses is the infrared focusing index. When shooting with black-and-white (but not color) infrared film , it is necessary to refocus the lens to compensate for the fact that infrared light rays focus at a point slightly in front of visible light. In infrared photography, use of the R60 filter is required . At first , focus on your subject through the viewfinder by rotating the lens focusing ring @ without the filter in place. Then look at the lens and take note of the focused distance. Reset the focusing ring so that the desired distance is aligned with the red dot. Finally take pictures with the filter attached. »
this is definitely an interesting tip! thank you for sharing. will try this
Hi Andre, sorry for ly late answer. Thanks for your comment. Did you try this trick? what is your experience with Shift lenses?
Sooooo this is a shift lens, but doesn't tilt. Is that correct ? How about image quality ? Thanks for the video !

I never thought of using my 28pc lens for hand held use. Thanks for the tip.
I'm going to give it a try.

It has no tilt operation. It is a shift lens.
Yes sorry for the mistake which I corrected in the title .
This is a shift lens, not a tilt lens.
Thank you so much
Sorry for my mistake !
I changed the title of the video thanks to your input .

How do you attach Nikon shift lens to panasonic S-1? Adapter?

Mine is the metabones version but any kind of F to L adapter will work.
Merci!
How's the sharpness of the corners when using this lens normally. Merci

You should really redo this video with the correct terminology. You could be confusing a lot of people by mixing up tilt and shift.
I changed the name already. Maybe I should do it again. Or with another lens at least.
