Just be careful on those sort of hair like parts on celery. Make peal it off or can then on smaller parts. It’s not that rich in nutrition so you can give it to ur birdie but no really need.
I'm getting nervous because my alexandrine is getting really dark grey on his head and I took him to vet and they said it might be because I touch him a lot which didn't help me. Do you think it's ok for them to eat hemp, chia and flax seeds? I'm wondering if I'm giving too much to him. It's hard for him to eat broccoli, carrots and leafy greens. He's very picky with food 😔🥺 if you have any advice id appreciate it.
Hi there. I wouldn’t say that dark area is from touching. It may be little bit related to diet so too much fat in diet is one thing After molting when new feathers grow that should get all good and green again. I don’t think it’s anything to do with touching. Even that can make them to excited but what’s wrong with that. When it comes to teaching your parrot what to eat you need to be hard. Sometimes just don’t give them anything. Else but just a carrot or beetroot. Or pepper. And leave it for couple of hours. And you eat it too. Show them that it is nice and tasty and then they may give it go. I would not give them seeds every day. Don’t worry. He will be ok ❤
