I loved this take on this song. They did so well. The voice crossing I loved it. They made it their own for sure and I loved it. I can’t wait to see them preform live together I hope they do more. Their voices are like melted butta. 🫧🩷💚

This was a stunning performance but personally, I was drawn to Cynthia the entire time. Even when they sung together I was only hearing her. That being said though, when Arianna was singing alone she sounded as angelic as always. Beautiful
Beautiful! My only real complaint is that I wish there was more passion & emotion in their rendition. I don’t expect them to do it exactly like Whitney & Mariah bc they are different people. However, I would have liked to have seen more conviction & emoting with a song like this. They sounded lovely though!
In my opinion the Whitney and Mariah version has more of a bold strong soul to it. I love Cynthia’s voice A LOT but her style is a lot more focused on vocals as opposed to emotion. For me Ariana delivers (especially lately) a more soft, sensitive heart that kind of melts my soul. Like makes me want to cry. Mariah and Whitney version is just in a different category. I enjoy them both

Is it still a "rendition" if it is an imitation of the original recording? Both of them are impersonating Mariah and Whitney instead of singing in their natural sound of voice. Fair, it still sounds amazing but it's simply elite level karaoke.

Yes they’re doing it the same but it’s definitely in their vocal styles. Ariana always has a more breathy tone while Cynthia’s is thicker.
