Big OTT platforms thought bollywood is india so they didnt care for south indian content while amazon and hotstar learnt mistakes early and increased south movies.
One thing which Netflix does better than any other OTT platform is documentaries imo. They are extremely good. But sadly there is little interest over them.
the main reason behind the struggle of Netflix in India was they are not focusing subscribers other than bombay if you see prime video there shows are not just within bombay but it's fresh like mirzapur from up paatal lok and family man which were catchy as a tamilian i can't able to see a even one good series after sacred games in Netflix
For Indian Audience , Netflix needs to do only one thing , A set of research team on each regional zones of India and a proper and thorough research on regional content. Amazon Prime did the same thing and there's a reason they are getting more attractions!!. Netflix believed everything will be on plate but it is not. Even Prime took some years to get some good content.
I feel netflix doesn't have any X factor, where others have different different unique selling joint . For example disney + dumped Binge culture made by netflix reverted back to the traditional weekly episode. Which means subscribers will not watch the whole show in its free trial. Thats why even after realising blockbuster show like squid game last year they are failing.
Netflix with its hit international show was supposed to counter Bollywood, instead Netflix went the other way and gave the same Bollywood nonsense but with little bit of woke twist and nose dived to the bottom
Wow. You never disappoint me. Heart attack for Netflix subscription lol. Also please cover the Agneepath issue and why the rupee value is falling.
I once wrote an email to Netflix about the pricing models in India. With such pricing models, forget about striving, Netflix won’t even sustain in this competitive market.
Netflix can increase it's subscribers by two ways
Netflix was way ahead in insulting Hindus.. 😄😂
It's incredible how you present the videos with such animations.
A ott platform just cannot make any show weekly for eg who would wait for a week to watch the new episode of Mai on netflix. You need to have a background or a internet buzz before the show release. OR Like Disney + take the Marvel brand and a Fan would definitely wait a week to watch the next episode. Netflix have tried this by splitting there super hit shows like Money Heist and Strange Things in two volumes.
also if the subscription is finished, Netflix wont let me even look into my account and add new content to my watchlist
Hotstar is going to fall in India after losing IPL. Then compare it with Netflix, it's yearly earning will be less than Netflix
Amazing analysis bisbo, love how you gather various perspectives and views of the same problem to give a well-rounded video.
Hey bro i love❤ your content keep doing I love you man quality and effort in content is mind boggling 👌👌👌
Hotstar is 1500 , Amazon prime is 1000 per year. Where as Netflix cost more than 5k per year to have HD content. Indians will always looks for better deals . So Netflix need to launch yearly package by even selling discount for new subscriber and students. Then they will regain the place in competition.
Your content and graphics are just awesome ❤️🔥
The fathers reaction for netflix subscription 😆
