The Wellgate Centre today - like a ghost town. Full of cheapo trashy shops - the only decent shop left is Pavers shoe shop. The Centre today has bad vibes, no atmosphere and few customers, a tragedy for Dundee. We deserve so much better. What are the City Council doing about it? Absolutely nothing.

20 years ago and beyond those streets were mobbed!!....thriving with life!! Im not even sure i'd want to go back and it's where I'm from.
I remember when it opened in 78. I went back to Dundee last year, and the only thing I remembered was the clock. It’s full of crap now.

It’s the landlords fault the rent is sky high in the centre most of those buildings are private has nothing to do with the council
High Streets are dead all over. You can't just blame the council.
