I can't tell you how happy I am right now. I've seen many lessons of this song. but I was waiting for you to teach. So here it is now. Thank You very much Andy.
My dad taught me the most basic version of this song about 25 years ago.... thank you for your video, now I can play it properly... p.s. tagged you on my insta post.
Wow thanks for this lesson Andy, if someone had told me 3 months ago when I first picked up a guitar, I would be playing Layla by now, I would of laughed in their face, but here i am, playing Layla!
I picked an electric guitar because of you. And now I get to play my favourite song of all time because of you. Thank you, Andy !!! Love from KL, Malaysia
I love how you teach, but also, listening to this in the background at work I can hear the favorite parts of the riffs worked over and over again. Better than listening to the original!
Thank you so much! You are an 'OUTSTANDING teacher! I have learned so much from you. You are one of the very best out there! Blessings unto you ALWAYS!
Nice a great visual example showing what both hands are doing simultaneously, also fingers positions and sequences. Weather the student is a beginner, intermediate, advanced, gifted or professional there is a different approach for teaching each category.
These videos are amazing but what would greatly improve the learning experience would be at the end of the video. you combine everything that we learned into the segments you taught. The beginning of this video shows the iconic riff, but later in the video you go into the chorus but never show us fully what it will sound like together, RIff & then Chorus. nonetheless thank you for some of the best videos on you tube
@CrossInOkinawa thanks! I don't include that because that's exciting what causes a copyright strike, meaning either the video gets blocked or demonetised. Either of those things render making this video pointless for me as a creator. But I am looking into what I can offer on my website, www.andyguitar.co.uk to offer something similar to what you ask for
Someone made a comment about your choice of guitar for this lesson so now I'm wondering. Why you didn't use a Strat for this how to demonstration? Are Strats still available in the United Kingdom?
Hi this is somthing ive wanted to learn for a long time i liked the song so much that my daughter is named Lailla question how do i get the iconic sound I'm using a fender mustang amp.

The famous intro riff was actually composed by Duane Allman who also was wailing on slide on this most famous song! Nice lesson Andy, thanks!

What scale MODE is the intro lead line played in? what MODE is the guitar solo played in because the solo starts on the major7th
every lesson on line is different guess you have to buy the tab book to really find out what to do
