Instabug: Whip the camera out really fast, then put it away. The Instabug will go on it's walking route, making it somewhat easier to catch. Scorpenyo + Scorpepper: What he said. It's safest to bait with cheese. Flamin' Cheepoof + Noodler: just do what he said. you'll be thanking him later. Baja Tacroach: yeah just launch a trap Millimochi: Again, flaming trip shot works wonders, or you can sauce em with hot sauce once the eggler shells are cracked. Daddy Cakelegs: In order to do the bossfight properly, focus is key. If you've done the bossfight already, you can skip the baby cakelegs and walk straight to where the boss is.

For scoopy banoopy you can instantly catch it if you place the trip shot on the campfire, since it carries elements. Same thing works for preying picantis, but with the water instead.
That method for flaming cheepoof sounds better than mine lol. I lured the bopsicle into the cave to cool it down but it took a long time because the noodlers kept incapacitating the bopsicle's freezing ability and also burning down my trip wires lol

I honestly didn’t find the Bugsnax on fire to be THAT hard, especially the Cheepoof. Since all I did was use the SnakGrappler to lure the nearest Sodie to the Bugsnak
how I caught these guys: scoopy banoopy: place the trip shot on the campfire, aim it at the nearest tree, and launch it when the scoopy banoopy after so. instabug: I don’t exactly remember but I think I used the trip shot to stun it after luring it out of its hiding spot. Poptick: sauce it in hot sauce so the scorpenyo puffs them up and lure them into the trap with chocolate (away from the scorpenyo otherwise it will destroy the trap Scorpenyo + scorpepper: I haven’t caught scorpepper yet but Scorpenyo I lead to the water with cheese Flamin’ cheepoof: just launch a paletoss at it Noodler:sauce a near paletoss with hot sauce so the noodler will go toward the paletoss baja tacroach: either launch a trap at it or use the trip shot Millimochi: shrink it, then stun it with a trip shot on fire Daddy cakelegs: the intended way to do it is use a flaming trip shot, but in the second and third phase, you can set yourself on fire and run toward his candles
P.s. I don't see why people have a hard time catching a instabug... I would use trip shot because the snake trap is kinda slow for a snack right 10 inches away from a bush.
When I tried to catch the scorpepper I tried to continuously trapping and snack grappling until it got to lake and when I caught on fire I just ran in the water and try again that’s what I had in mind but I got luck and the game glitched and the trap will not break so I kept snak grappling until it reached the sodie

Dude. My strategy ended up being to perfectly time it so that it would be knocked down with the trip shot, then lead a popsicle inside to tackle it. It took forever and was very aggravating. I don't know why I never tried anything else.
this list is a bit unaccurate for me, as for most of them you just need alot of sauce or certain traps (trip shot, snak grappler, etc) and are otherwise extremely easy, so here's my list! 1. Preying Picantis this one gave me alot of trouble when i first started, but it's become more easy the more i've caught it. if you want to catch it the easier way, you can lead it to a flapjackarak, because the whirlwind will put out the fire aswell as "trip" it. for the other way, get rid of the sodie in the pond or make sure the sodie can't trip over the Trip Shot, then lead the Picantis to the trip shot (in the pond) and catch it 2. Spaghider this is the most annoying snak to capture (imo) because i can never throw the spice at it in time. however, if you wanna try, you need to break an Eggler shell using the Ancient Egg Cracker to release the Deviled Eggler. then, put hot sauce on the Spaghider and get the Shrink Spice. once the Spaghider has fallen, place a trap near the tree's trunk and wait for it to go in your trap. 3. Megamaki i've always hated this bossnak, it's the most difficult and annoying bossnak when compared to the others. to catch it, you need to trip it and catch 3 Minimakis each phase (if you catch less than 3, the boss fight will last longer than just 3 phases) 4. Caramel Poptick this bugsnak is completely luck-based, and if you know me, you know my luck is terrible. place your trap down near one and wait. when one enters your trap, catch it. (you can also trip it) 5. Tikkada Masala i had lots of trouble catching this one for Shelda. it would be really easy to catch if it didn't get stuck all the time. in order to catch it, you must lead it to the Millimochi outside the temple with hot sauce (be sure to get 20, because you'll be surprised by how fast it goes down). then, throw the spice at it and capture it (if you're lucky, you can also get 3 Millimochis) 6. Cappuceetle yeaahh.. i'm pretty sure this one is self-explanatory. for Flavor Falls: put a Trip Shot at the entrance of Garden Grove from Flavor Falls to prevent it from leaving, and put ranch on the Cappuceetle. then, scare it and wait for the Sandopede to trip it. for Boiling Bay: summon the Megamaki, and wait for it to knock out the Cappuceetle. for Sizzlin' Sands: put cheese on it, and pray to god the Black Lollive grabs it in time. after the Lollive grabs it, catch it. for Frosted Peak: lead the Scoopy Banoopy to the Cappuceetle, and make it hit the Cappuceetle so that it gets knocked out and thawed out of the ice from the first hit. this is all i have for now, tell me what you think of it!
you can use the trip wire to block the exit in boiling bay, frosted peak, sizzling sands, and flavor falls. its more difficult for scorched gorge, garden grove, simmering springs, and sugarpine mountains because they have two exits.
bro this video is so wrong. I’ve only made it through the first two but there are much easier ways to catch them. Scoopy Banoopy is trivially easy. Put your tripshot on the nearby campfire and then connect it to the mountain. Scoopy should walk through it and be un-frozen(?) and tripped at the same time, making it easy to go grab. (This also works with Paletoss Grande btw, I know that’s another one ppl struggle with) Instabug is also quite easy, set up a tripshot where it comes out. That way you don’t have to do any of that fast clicking. EDIT: Flamin’ Cheepoof is also easier than that, set up a tripshot so that it’ll fall right in front of the doorway that the Paletoss Grande is in. You can either lead the Paletoss to the fallen Cheepoof or just time it so that the Paletoss will automatically aggro onto it. Once it’s hit, (as long as it doesn’t get hit all the way into the lava) you should be able to easily grab it.

Millimochi is personallly pretty easy to catch, but it made catching Cheddorb hard, cause I was to stubborn to catch/move away from them

i acutally found it easier to catch the noodler by luring it to the ocean with sauces, worked well for me cause it just followed it the entire time.

For Instabug you can also just put a trip shot right next to the bush
you can use the snakgrappler on a sodie to get it to follow you and spray soda at you and its easier than covering sprout in sauce imo
