German Maintence here: No Way Out was the correct replacement name for the German Elimination Chamber Show. But in 2012 WWE brought back No Way Out as a separate show and only then the name of "No Escape" was introduced for that actual Elimination Chamber

The first ever Elimination Chamber classic hands down. For its anticipating mysterious build-up, vignette, and storyline. Introducing BIG Gold Belt as the major championship in the 1st ever brand split.
Love the series, love the 3-count starting with a 3-count. And I know I'm not the only one to ask it, but reading every entry before the 3-words would be massively helpful.
re: the new years revolution 06 chamber: i dont remember if it was kurt who said it or someone else in the chamber, but everyone knew they were losing so they wanted to be the first out so that they could wrestle the least and kurt is the one who got to tl;dr: kurt was out first bc he wanted to be
Angle did an interview for the 2006 rumble where he said when the boys in the match learned Cena was winning they did rock paper scissors to see who would be eliminated first and he won. That's why he went out first
People used to talk so much shit about HHH during his reign of terror, but I think back and realize how good he really was. He had some trash matches with Drop Foot Steiner and Goldberg, but I honestly think he was the best part of the attitude era. Cena has a pretty bad rep for his reign of terror too, but HHH was always good. Cena didn't start improving until after everybody hated him. HHH was always pulling out some bangers
Here is something for you to investigate. It has now come out that Jackie rejected Vince McMahon’s advances and she was fired. But at one of the wrestlemanias, Jackie was involved in a match against Torrie Wilson. It may have been a tag match. Torrie pins Jackie to the mat with Jackie’s legs bent over her and torrie sitting on Jackie’s legs. Like a role up. But Torrie didn’t get off Jackie after the 3 count. She pointed at her back side and pulled off her panties. Everyone in the front row started taking pictures. Was this done to punish Jackie? Find the footage and ask Torrie why she did this. There were children we witnessed this.
My pick for best Elimination Chamber match: Daniel Bryan vs. Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston at Elimination Chamber 2019.
Kurt once did an interview where he said Shawn & Kurt argued to get eliminated first because neither wanted to be in there and they did 🪨 📃 ✂️ to decide
the 2023 chamber main event almost made me go to Montreal from Toronto, it was the most invested in a WWE character I ever was. Then lol, uso interference :P

Were we ever told if triple h's injury in the first elimination chamber was an actual thing or not? (I mainly ask this because the image of triple h wrestling with a crushed larynx seems a bit 2 badass for it not to have been a Kayfabe injury,, I know we live in a world where Mick Foley continue to wrestle after two brutal spots, one of which was a fall to the ring Matt that was not planned that way, but I didn't know if triple h Actually wrestled with a crushed larynx, because of all the impossible stuff that wrestlers pull off that seems the most impossible
21:30 I truly though we were in for the greatest Elimination Chamber match of all time I mean look at the talent can you really blame me everyone's ring work is so crisp and you got awesome powerhouses wow this was such a disappointment
My personal New Years Revolution 06 3 Words were "EDGE FOUGHT FLAIR" I wasnt a kid who used the computer and all if anything id do was Check the results of WWE Shows I asked my Brother to check it and he went "Edge won the world title" and the first thing i said "EDGE FOUGHT FLAIR" Not understanding what he just said to me and seeing it for myself was insane
has there not been any new content on Patreon for 2 weeks now?? The last thing I see is the pilot episode of the new Mondays with Tempest & Dan format. Is the big Survival Series with guest stars on the NRB Patreon??
Hey guys, super fan of yours great segment here. However, I feel like we can switch it up from time to time. Why not add Sat, Tempest or Laurie. I’ve missed them and I haven’t seen them in a while.
I really can't get behind the whole padding thing. If the issue is protecting wrestlers, then maybe *just don't do dangerous spots onto the hard bits* rather than weirdly putting protective padding in a match designed to be dangerous. There's padding outside the ring in normal matches because wrestlers *aren't meant to be doing moves on the outside in the first place.* You could do plenty of safe-but-dangerous-looking spots with the grating without doing mad things like chokeslams or dives. The padding's the worst of all worlds.
If they did that, people would complain they're not doing crazy spots outside of the ring area because it's dangerous. Putting in the padding makes the most sense as you can still do all the spots the chamber is known for without risking more injuries. I'd personally rather them do cool spots on the outside than be stifled in their creativity because no one wants to injure themselves taking bumps on unprotected surfaces.
@@zakk219 I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. For me it just seems the compromise is silly & stretches credulity in a medium that's already straining suspension of disbelief.
The elimination chamber was always a way for superstars to get a push to headline wrestlemania I hope to see two new superstars win this match for that opportunity.

Santino nearly winning the WHC in 2012 against Bryan is etched into my wrestling brain, one of my favourite near-falls and Chamber matches ever
