Masked Singer season 9 Show description
Hosted by Nick Cannon and panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, "The Masked Singer" is a top-secret singing competition in which celebrities face off against one another while shrouded from head to toe in elaborate costumes, concealing their identities. With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who the singer is behind the mask. The singers may attempt to throw off the crowd, but keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. Each week, a singer is eliminated -- and then reveals his or her true identity.

Unfortunately, you can go by the clues and figure out who this is Joey. Clue #1 - this was right before filming began for this season. That puts it in the first half of 2023. Second, it was a personal disaster. Third, it is someone Fox really wanted because they were a threat to win the show. Given these three facts, how many singers had a personal disaster in the first half of 2023? One I know of. It was Kellie Pickler as she fits all three, unfortunately. Her husband, Kyle Jacobs, who was a song writer committed suicide February 2023. That is about the time when Fox would be figuring out who would be on the show for this 9th season. Kellie does fit all three conditions. Edit: Additional fact given elsewhere - the person had COVID. if that is the case, the singer is Bruce Springsteen since he fits all of the above conditions with COVID March 2023.

No The French Ken had covid so he or she had to drop out.
French Hen Costume was replace by Royal Hen because the person who was gonna be French Hen couldn’t do it so they changed the costume a little! Happy they put it in season 10 as Royal Hen❤
Melissa Joan Hart said that she was called in with very little notice; I'm surprised he didn't mention her by name.
Based on what Sarah Evans stated about originally being part of Abba Night despite being a more fitting mask for the Country Night theme and the inclusion of Axolotl and Macaw were what led me to speculate that country night was supposed to be the second episode and the final episode for Group B was originally planned to be a Latin Night that before the later theme was cut due to due to Fox being able to work out a deal to do the Abba theme (which makes sense as Abba night was the first time they were able to have their songs performed on the show.)
Variety put out a story that whoever was supposed to be French Hen got Covid and that’s how Debbie Gibson got casted last minute.
Yes that is what happened because I heard it from Debbie Gibson when Lance Bass was interviewing her.

If it takes months to get the costumes ready, then how did Debbie's Owl costume get finished on short notice?
I read on different sites that the french hen got ill before the premiere night and had to drop out. Supposed they tested postive for Covid-19 and decided to just drop out of the entire competition.
I believe that the night owl's costume was recycled from the snow owl's costume from last season..... at least the mask part.
If you go back and look at pictures and compare you will see its the same. That's probably how they made the costume last minute.

Cool, thanks for sharing the video! I have been wondering who was the person that was sick and could not do the show. 🤔 It dawned on me that yeah we have not seen the “French Hen” costume. I guess we will wait for S10! 😆
I was thinking that it was someone that got ill. And they were hoping that she would come back the same season but didn't. Facebook group I belong to they say that Sara Evans was her friend and she even had to sing her song when she replaced her.
I think I know who is talking about Jeremy Renner Hawkeye he wasn’t. He was crushed by that has his snow machine and had to go to the hospital and get fixed and he’s way on the mend.
I agree it was probably Jermey Renner because he's a big star because of mostly marvel i know he did other things but Marvel is what he's known for. If that's the case, will he even be able to walk in season 10 if the costume comes back or will he be a wheely one

It has been reported that the Hen couldn't come on due to Covid-19, although we don't know exactly if that's the case. Whatever it is we can assume that this person has been dealing with personal issues or was one of the recent celebrities to test positive I don't know either way we can just hope that everything's good and that they can come back on next season if that's the case.
Who would it be? It's a shame he didn't say the name.
@@DJIncendration we don't know as of right now we're just going to have to see what the outcome is and hope that it's nothing serious and go from there.
@@Preston77889 I agree with what was said before. I can't see Kellie doing season 10 or anything for awhile. She is dumstruck and grieving. It's still too soon for her.

I remember seeing some morning show interview with Carly Simon, saying she had throat surgery in January.
I would love to see French Hen along with the other cupcake return to compete and become a brand new twist and be matriculate masks on Season 10. That would be interesting to see how it would play out along with having the bell 🔔 reutrn next fall. I wonder if this might actually happen. What do you think about Joey?
Damian that won't happen the other cupcake was Anita Pointer and unfortunately she passed away.
@@ChedlayWhat Ruth said about Cupcake initially being planned to be a group costume with her late sister Anita was what led me to to come up with theory that Banana Split was supposed to only be just the female ice cream/Katherine Mcphee Foster (under the name Sundae ) which explains why she was the only singer in the group. But they turned her into a group costume with her husband last minute so that season 6 could have a group costume after Anita was unable to do the show.

I found out the celebrity who was going to be the French Hen dropped out of the season at the last minute, due to reportedly testing positive for COVID-19. That's why he/she wasn''t present. The costume is rumored to come out in season 10 but nothing has been confirmed.
Maybe they will be on next time and they had a problem this year.

Is he a threat to win the whole show (one of the three clues given by Joey)? No. Kellie Pickler is a much better fit. Her husband committed suicide Feb. 2023 which is about the time they would have selected for this current season. She is a famous singer, could win, had a personal disaster, and the timing of the event is about right. I think that is far more likely.
