What an amazing woman. I have always loved her singles, especially when her first few were on the radio, but I've never bought one of her albums. Been listening to he'd "Lullabye" album at night, to help fall asleep.
I definitely now have the itch to go back and listen to every album she's done, in chronological order. I have a feeling she will be my new music obsession. She has always been so classy and well-spoken. She exudes this warm personality that always makes me smile, singing or not.
That Patsy Cline cover was next level. The way she cries when she sings "The only thing new"...Jewel knew exactly how to change her tone and inflection to fit the 60's recording style. She's obviously a huge study of the craft.
If you're fan of Jewel there is no way you couldn't pick that voice out in 2 seconds! I had no idea she was on the show, let alone won, how awesome! I adore her!

I just found out like 10 minutes ago so I looked it up. I'm astounded none of them guessed her, her voice is so amazing and unique. I would have gotten it at latest the second song. Especially because I've been binging her stuff since the rogan podcast a few months ago lol. Best podcast episode I've ever seen. Best interview too.

No doubt! I have never watched this show. It seems stupid to me, but I was on Jewel's page and saw that she was on it. Just had to watch this. She is incredible as always. Just blows them all away! I swear she just keeps getting better.
Absolutely. Jewel's modulation, and multi-range (she is classified Soprano) togther with almost perfect diction and clarity, is the best I've heard in years.

I am absolutely floored by her range! This just lets you really appreciate her voice outside of her own recording style! That was amazing! Especially when she sang in french. Just superb!

How could they not have known! She has one of the best and unique voices in the industry! Her soft breathy vibrato at the end and transitions is what she’s known for and yodeling. Definitely underrated! First song and I said this is no one else but JEWEL!!! 💎

Jewel fans, I honestly had to know it was her. Foolish Games is one of my favorite songs still and she has range in that. Singing Patsy Cline, I started to suspect her for sure but I think for sure she sealed my decision with Bird Set Free. She threw people off with the southern accent a few times. She’s always been such a talent. Good for her!

I started listening to the first song and instantly new. The only song where I would've been in doubt, was the French song.
It is the "raspy" (not sure what it is called in English) edge which really got me and which I also love in her singing.
Jewel's new cd's is an instant buy for me.

I just love Jewel you know her immediately she can sing anything and delivers perfectly everytime. Jewels voice control is outstanding and one of a kind, her talent is endless not limited.
I loved Queen of Hearts since the beginning, but couldn’t put my finger on who she was. The southern accent threw me off. But after she sang Bird Set Free I noticed the higher register in her voice that reminded me of her earlier music, and it clicked it was her. it made sense to me why I loved Queen of hearts all along. Jewel was one of my favs since I was little, I remember her poetry. This show really showcased the powerful side of her voice. Congrats, Queen! 👸 ❤️ 💎

Wow she absolutely killed the delivery on almost all of those, she's one of those artists blessed with both a great sounding voice and great technical capability. Every vocal flourish gracefully executed and every line given the right weight and tone to work with those around it. Really impressive.

Have loved Jewels voice since I was in high school back in the good ass 90's
I wasn't sure that it was Jewel until she sang the Sia song. She almost sounds like she is crying, and it reminded me of one of my favorite video of Jewel singing Foolish Games (Live on Soundstage) on UA-cam. At that point I absolutely knew that it was Jewel. Sia and Jewel are my favorite female singers of all time. However,...in the duet with Nichole I though Nichole actually out-sung Jewel,..maybe I was swayed by how absolutely stunningly beautiful Nichole is. Either way,..I am glad she won,..and she looks absolutely amazing still after all these years.

I have not had yet any desire to watch this show... but seeing this, realizing it was Jewel that won... I guess I will reconsider. Because she is such a genuine person, and one that has come through her own journey that was difficult. She's an amazing person before you even stop to consider just how much an amazing singer she is. Plus she is amazingly beautiful by grace of God... she is an inspiration for anyone that will take notice. I may have to watch the next season of this show... although I don't know how anyone can top this woman. One more thing, I thought of one young lady that could do pretty well... and I did not really like her once... Lady GaGa. She's pretty impressive now as well.

OMG! I never heard this side of Jewel! That was the most AMAZING rendition of La Vie En Rose!!! I had no idea that Jewel had that range & level of control. That was insane! Her tone and the way she navigates through songs is just so special. I am utterly blown away by her talent. Her instrument is way stronger than I ever thought and the level of emotion that she evokes is unmatched. She really makes you feel with every song she sings.

I’ve never been a jewel fan mostly bc I just didn’t vibe with her songs. So I never really thought about how incredible her voice is. It’s amazing. She’s incredibly talented. I’m still a Toddrick stan (absolute triple threat) but I can’t be shady, Jewel def earned the win.

@@eulaneita7566 the bull is incredibly talented. His name is Todrick Hall and he’s not just a great singer but a great dancer, an actor, a drag queen and a choreographer. You should totally check out his YT channel. My fav vids by him are Dripesha with Tiffany Hadish, Wrong Btch with bob the drag queen and Expensive with a bunch of amazing drag queens, including Kim Chi who I stan. I feel like the show kinda fcked him by putting him a costume that limited his dancing. There’s been costumes that made dancing a lot easier so I don’t know why they did him dirty like that. Maybe they thought if he could really show off his dancing, it would give him an unfair advantage, but idk. But if I’m not being a total stan, I have to admit Jewel has the kind of singing ability not many ppl have. I enjoy the raspier tones of Todrick on the show but that’s what I enjoy. I feel like his abilities added together make him more talented then Jewel overall, but Jewel does have a rare talent. I don’t hate Jewel’s voice, especially in the show (the only stuff I’d heard from her before was in the upper registers and I prefer lower voices) but I like Todrick’s more. But I’m aware enough to get that most ppl would say Jewel had the superior voice. It’s just not my preference. Also I never really vibed with any of her music. But omg I love Todrick. He’s so talented it’s actually sickening.
@@Comrade_mommy I love Todrick’s performances more they made me emotional. But hers did not and could not but it’s a singing competition which he over did more than singing. He was a performer all together! Wish the trophy was his but he’s a winner in my book 📖
