West side the best side refers to the west coast. It doesn’t refer to anything on the eastern side of the United States . I hope he wasn’t sayin that callin Chicago a western city.

Once I saw it was on a hour and a half I knew the energy wasn’t gon be like the other eps. TWISTA! My fellow Chicago artist you are a LIVING LEGEND!! definitely inspired me and many MANY others from the city to the globe. You deserve all the flowers crowns word up! Decent interview felt kinda vague though I gon hold you. Questions asked by EFN WERE THE ONES THAT SAVED THE INTERVIEW LOL Questions I woulda asked… 1. How long does it take to write rhymes for you? 2. What made you slow down ( speed) after “Runnin off at da mouth?” 3. The Resserection album was the same as Commons album , how come you never worked with Common on a song? 4. Whstsyour relationship with the flic? (crucial conflict) and would you have done a “HAY” remix? 5. Adrenaline Rush skit “smoking bud” was a Bone diss? Lol And why wasn’t a adrenaline rush video? 6. Mob stability album what made you want the group? 8. The birth of Legit Ballin Records 9. Who Haven’t you done a song with and who would you like to record with? 10. Is that idea being a actual “Bone” member still in the air? 😌 yeah imma real Carl Mitchell fan ya dig just a little opinion on how this episode coulda went 💯
This was definitely one of the worst Drink Champs interviews. I think B High, PSA Hip Hop or Joe Budden would ask better questions and pull more information from Twista. This just wasn't the right platform for Twista
9:07 Good job EFN. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but NORE went from "so where you from..to..whatchu' been up to"? Kinda lik the first question asked in an interview straight to the LAST question asked in an interview. Nice catch EFN for taking it back to the beginnings of Twista.
That's why I been defending EFN from the early Drink Champs days. If Nore doesn't have a personal relationship with the guests he's really not on his game
Being a kid in Chicago listening to Sox Park Mob mixtapes is something I'll always take with me. "I'm on probation but that shit was nation business. No love no love no love." Chicago is just different.
Adrenaline Rush is so nostalgic…it’s all that could be heard bumping in Chicago during the summer of ‘97. As for Jamie Foxx, he had a song out way back in the day entitled “Infatuation,” it was fire too. Jamie been had vocals.
Could you stop with your lies? Twista is not a legend, his rap career was average. Some people are sick of you clowns calling every rapper a legend. 1 of the last real 1’s? That’s another Lie!

I finally saw Twista last night dope show! He's one of the best emcees in hip-hop period, he has dope Delivery, sick wordplay, speed but can always slow it down he gots songs for the ladies and pimps, players and G's been a fan for 2 decades
Adrenaline Rush has to be one of the first albums I bought as a kid. It was a cassette tape and I played it so much til the strip part came out it. It's still one of my all time favorite albums til this day
I’m thankful Twista finally got on this show, super happy for that legend/man. Nore has no idea about the specifics of this mans career, just a few highlights. You cannot leave out Traxster, Speedknot, etc. So many things that would have made this interview incredible and deserving of Twista. It came off awkward to me at most points. But congratulations living legend Twista!
He should've did his homework more and talked to people from Chicago to see how much Twista means to the city and get some sort of background. Love the show but his questions was kinda lame. I still appreciate him having him on true legend Twista
I was at the shooting range by the crib sitting in the lobby an there was a guy at the door with a mask on waiting to get buzzed in. Now I could've easily let him in but my rule is if they gotta be buzzed in I'm not touching that door. So about 5 minutes go by and they finally buzz him in. Whole time it was Twista!! My bad dog!! But I still had to follow my door rule fam lol!!
I'm just seeing this and in my mind this is why Drink Champs is the greatest rap talk show.. They represent all, Twists is the original Chi Town rapping OG.

Do or Die ft Twista "Po Pimp" was the first hip hop cassette I owned as a youngin. I remember writing down the lyrics (or trying to) and trying to memorize them. I was probably 9 or 10 at the time. Twista and the Speedknot Mobstas album was crazy too. So much of an impact on my music upbringing. S/I to the goat of the fast flow.
You can tell Twista and Nore don’t have a relationship like he does with the other guests, this interview wasn’t as long or authentic as the others. Twista is the home team so I was gone watch regardless cause I’ve been loving and playing his music since a youngsta ✊🏾❤️.
As a man who grew up in Chicago I've supported Twista (Tung Twista) since the beginning! Twista is sooo dope!!! He’s so laid back and chill AND he’s honest and gives credit where credit is due! I’ve always loved his music!!! If he puts more music out today, he’ll still be 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😇
He never stopped wym? Go listen to prayer shit is a fkn banger
Yeah he’s literally very laid back, funny asl. I’m super glad he lost all that weight.
One of Chicago's finest & a West-side (the best side) legend. Twista is the most humble, nicest, and coolest OG's out there. Him, Do or Die, & Crucial Conflict use to do sets at the Circle. Def the soundtrack of my youth. Salute to him and much continued success.
West side the best side refers to the west coast. It doesn’t refer to anything on the eastern side of the United States . I hope he wasn’t sayin that callin Chicago a western city.
@@StevenTheGreat_ I said what I said.
Glad you guys had twista on. He’s def a legend and deserves ALL of his props. Respect to twista!!! It’s awesome watching the OG’s grow older and gain wisdom
Questions asked by EFN WERE THE ONES THAT SAVED THE INTERVIEW LOL
Questions I woulda asked…
1. How long does it take to write rhymes for you?
2. What made you slow down ( speed) after “Runnin off at da mouth?”
3. The Resserection album was the same as Commons album , how come you never worked with Common on a song?
4. Whstsyour relationship with the flic? (crucial conflict) and would you have done a “HAY” remix?
5. Adrenaline Rush skit “smoking bud” was a Bone diss? Lol
And why wasn’t a adrenaline rush video?
6. Mob stability album what made you want the group?
8. The birth of Legit Ballin Records
9. Who Haven’t you done a song with and who would you like to record with?
10. Is that idea being a actual “Bone” member still in the air?
😌 yeah imma real Carl Mitchell fan ya dig just a little opinion on how this episode coulda went 💯
Nore dropped the ball on this one fo sho
This was definitely one of the worst Drink Champs interviews. I think B High, PSA Hip Hop or Joe Budden would ask better questions and pull more information from Twista. This just wasn't the right platform for Twista
@@OPTIMYSTIK2013 I agree
Hell yea it would've been nice to hear him answer all of those questions

Good job EFN.
We proud of Twista in Chicago
💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥💯🐐👑
Being a kid in Chicago listening to Sox Park Mob mixtapes is something I'll always take with me. "I'm on probation but that shit was nation business. No love no love no love." Chicago is just different.
Adrenaline Rush is so nostalgic…it’s all that could be heard bumping in Chicago during the summer of ‘97. As for Jamie Foxx, he had a song out way back in the day entitled “Infatuation,” it was fire too. Jamie been had vocals.
Twista is so dope and talented... He is one of the last real artist left!! One of the greatest too ever do it!!!
Could you stop with your lies? Twista is not a legend, his rap career was average. Some people are sick of you clowns calling every rapper a legend. 1 of the last real 1’s? That’s another Lie!

Twista raps the way classical pianist plays piano. Amazing.
DJ EFN nailed that interview!
Definitely!
💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥
To think ppl hated him in the early Drink Champ days. This interview is why he was needed. If Nore doesn't have a personal relationship with the artist some times the interview doesn't flow well
He’s Kobe and Nore is Shaq during their 3 peat
@@354allday yes I can definitely tell. I’m not a fan of the show because of Nore. He over talks his guest and he can get a little off topic because he had too many drinks. I’m glad Twista kept it going and eventually opened up. Great interview
That song he did with Luda, Freaky thangs!! That bihh was a masterpiece in flowing!! Twista is one of my favorite rappers of all time!!! Much respect!!💯💯💯👑👑👑
I love hearing Twis give his props and flowers to people he looked up to and was inspired by.
That’s another reason he’s my favorite CHI-TOWN rapper of all time! He’s just so fucking humbled man smh.
THANK GOD I GREW UP WHEN AND WHERE I DID!!!! If you live anywhere near Gary like I do or close to Chicago you were blessed by the mix tape and cd Gods!

there's a difference between fast rapping and rapping fast. the difference is when you listen to someone like twista is you can understand every single word hes rapping. original og legend pioneer. 🔥🔥🐐✍🤜🤛
100% he can go fast but still saying every word clearly
This the one 💯
How I miss this one? Twist in the top 5 imo. He was way ahead of his time.
I finally saw Twista last night dope show! He's one of the best emcees in hip-hop period, he has dope Delivery, sick wordplay, speed but can always slow it down he gots songs for the ladies and pimps, players and G's been a fan for 2 decades

Twista a certified legend! Shoutout to my Family from the Westside of Chicago & Harvey!

I remember they was trying to kill him on the west of chi tow. Back in the days he was the man ,,
Traxster the goat producer. Don't forget Johnny P
I will always love twista's music .. one of the best of all time. Killz every feature. Lyrical and melodic.

Interviewing Legendary ppl like Twista is wut make dis show Great. Salute ✊🏿🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of my favorite Rappers for real 🔥🙏🏽 Po Pimp & Emotions still get me hype. Twista a straight legend 💯
I grew up on your music it used to make me feel like a super hero... shouting from South Africa.. Yebo!
Such a humble dude. Twist a was a huge part of my upbringing. Thanks for this guys!
One of the most underrated legends of all time. I hate that he gets left out of Chicago royalty like he didn’t pioneer a lot of that Chicago talk.
Chicago in the building!!! This West side legend. I'm from out south & Twista the Og man. Love my Chicago brother 💯
I'm just seeing this and in my mind this is why Drink Champs is the greatest rap talk show.. They represent all, Twists is the original Chi Town rapping OG.
Twista has always come across as this extremely humble and just nice person… That’s dope

I agree he didn’t come with the same Energy and questions that he Usually do when he have someone on but the episode was ok

Yup
Most definitely appreciated this interview and the deserved flowers given. Much respect to Twista, much respect to Nore.
CHOPPING AND RAPPING FAST IS DIFFERENT TWISTER IS THE MASTER
Do or Die ft Twista "Po Pimp" was the first hip hop cassette I owned as a youngin. I remember writing down the lyrics (or trying to) and trying to memorize them. I was probably 9 or 10 at the time. Twista and the Speedknot Mobstas album was crazy too. So much of an impact on my music upbringing. S/I to the goat of the fast flow.
Busta vs Twista is definitely a go.
That's including Tung Twista 1991 vs LOTNS 1990 far as album concerns.
I think Twista vs Busta or Twista vs Mystical. Shot would be craaazy

Twista and Do or Die Midwest's finest💯
You can tell Twista and Nore don’t have a relationship like he does with the other guests, this interview wasn’t as long or authentic as the others. Twista is the home team so I was gone watch regardless cause I’ve been loving and playing his music since a youngsta ✊🏾❤️.
It's good to see a midwest MC on DCs. Twista been dope. One of the originals with tht crazy style.
Twista, had the flow with the projection and clarity plus bars PERIOD!!!!
One of the few rappers who could outrap busta rhymes..super legend 🔥🔥
One of the RAWEST MC'S in the game
If you ever heard any of his early work you would truly appreciate the greatness and the Amazing music he's put out
Resurrection still one of my top 5 albums of all time by anyone
As a man who grew up in Chicago I've supported Twista (Tung Twista) since the beginning! Chicago artist weren't getting signed or being showed any love which is why when Naughty By Nature dissed him he completely tore them up on "Suicide" & as far as I know/remember they NEVER replied back!!! BIG SHOUT OUT to him!!!🤴🏽
The fact that Treach & Naughty dissed him to me just speaks to his greatness. Especially being an artist from the Midwest just bubbling barely above the surface around 91'
This is amazing! Glad to finally see one of OUR OGs get his respect the right way. Salute TWISTA & Drink Champs
