Hi ! Just looked at Airfix site, they've just updated the cheap mystery box - the image that was previously a p40 is now a p51d !

Polystyrene is my favourite drug. Not for internal use.
It’s kind of appropriate that you get a Curtis P40B Warhawk and the Zero as they flew against each other in Pacific.
Very true, i did think that after i filmed the video
All of those kits are new mould and are brilliant. I've just recently completed the P40. The Zero is just as good as a Tamiya kit.
The 262 is on par with a Hasagawa or Fujimi kit, with slightly better detail in some areas. Have Fun!

I bought a couple of mystery boxes myself great value mainly I wanted the 1/24 mk 1 hurricanes so I could make both schemes

I thought I would also go for a ride in a Spit so bought one of the Cromwell starter sets. Amazing detail but some of the parts are so small I can barely see them! Think I may need a microscope to build it .

Do you get the paints in the models? I know when you get them in the starters, but I think it's a load of hassle buying the models and then the paints seperately

Not sure yet.. it only comes with one scheme... so might look at xtradecal to see what they offer

That's clearly in the video.
All very good kits, I've already built them and they are really good. Lucky getting two p-40's pity they only have the one scheme to build, suppose you could get some after market decals.

Lol getting the extra kit by mistake. Do you know that the law says it's theft! You have to legally tell them you received an extra item but you must not be out of pocket for making the return. Failed to inform them about their mistakes can result in prosicution or an extra charge being submitted to you. But most of the time company's will just say keep it, then legally you own it. Had a double delivery of a deep cut Dragon from Amazon worth £40 and I got to keep it legally as I informed them! Now I say ha ha if you got an extra from them for free but as you made a video I thought I would just mention it. The mystery box is better than it was a couple of months ago!
If airfix send round the Rozzers ill let them have it back... lol
