Heads up! Mint is one of the hardest plants to get rid of once they have grown more in the ground. It will spread everywhere. And it will never die. You think that you have dug it all up but it will grow back!
I'm glad to see my fellow gardeners are also mentioning this HAHA. I've moved all my mints into separate pots and they're much happier and contained now lol
Yes, I can attest to this. And not only that, if you plant certain other herbs, you will eventually end up with mint and mint hybrids 😅

Zen Grandpa gardening definitely provides such deeper wisdom in connection to the life and the world on so many levels. Starting out growing your own herbs and veggies with large out door planter box gardening, is a great easy start too. Family Island looks like a way more fun version of the Sims Castaway island!

When I used to attend a Buddhist Chinese school back when I was in middle school, there'd be a time after recess where we all had to go out to farm and plant veggies in the school farm. It's a lot of labor and in the heat it can be pretty exhausting. It's a great experience that everyone should try once though cause it really isn't as easy as people think and we should know how our food is grown, the effort it takes, and be grateful that we don't have to do it :)

It took me so long to watch this video, primarily because I kept reminding to Grandpa Mango's laugh at Stephanie's muscles. I love his laughter, Instant happiness in my heart. We have to protect him.
I loved this vlog but so you guys know, Hydrangea flowers change colour depending on the PH of your soil which you can change with manure, egg shells, ash or feed.

i recommend the veggie garden! fruits take a touch longer, from my experience with my mom's garden, but the veggies she grows are up within weeks and flowering in months with veggies coming right after! it feels so fast once they get growing. and my mom loves it.

Either my mom or grandpa bought a cherry blossom and peach tree and i planted it after school, hardest thing ever but so much fun. Its so cute and pretty. It was worth it. Love the vid best part of my day. Cute family💕❤

watch Garden Answers and start a raised garden for sure! She’s taught me so much and I have my own garden. I have three 7ft x 12ft garden beds full of veggies.
Just add automatic drip irrigation, so your garden gets water without you even thinking about it and there’s tutorials on it.

Stephanie have you heard of VERTICAL GARDENING?? I saw it on tiktok where they grow towers vegetables with no soil to maximize space and it looks amazing. I really want to have a garden one day and I think the towers look beautiful.

you definitely should start a veggie garden, its so fun n useful. i have a veggie garden and it saves me so much money, rather than go to wholefood to buy veggies. and it's very fun to pick veggies by yourself
How long did it take before you could harvest the veggies?

Fun fact about hydrangea plants you can change the color of the flower by adjusting the acidity in the soil. I fertilize my hydrangea plant with dog poo and the flowers can range from pink, purple, and blue or even be a gradient of all three colors.

Hydrangeas change colour depending on the pH of the soil! If the soil is acidic it will turn pink, if it’s basic it will be that beautiful blue colour you wanted 😍

Growing your own vege garden would/could be a fun learning experience as well. I find myself sometimes going on and off growing veges, but sometimes when I am growing vegetables it gives a sense of accomplishment when something finally grows and you can finally show it off to people how good you are at growing said vegetable.
Let me tell u having an garden is the most rewarding things ever u will be proud if u ate something u grew

I definitely recommend a water dip system the getting weed fabric put in and a dark color mulch also a drip system if you start a garden
YESSS start a garden!! It's honestly so fun. Pro tip - plant mint by itself in a pot, not in the ground. Mint is a very strong plant and an aggressive grower and it will take over your entire bed if you allow it hahaha
