Heaven Tatum I agree with you completely. I think we should start a campaign by writing to TNT and tell them to bring Rizolli and Isles back. As far as I know no one has died, Lee Thompson Young died before the series ended so the rest of them are alive and I don’t think any of them are doing anything on a regular basis. It would be so great to see them now, Corsack retired and running the Dirty Robber, Frankie and Nina married with a family still doing detective work, Maura a writer that misses Boston so much she decides to return, Jane retired from the FBI also coming home, Angela married to Ron, Tommy and his son living and working in Boston. I think a good writer would come up with a good story line for all the wonderful actors. I’d watch every episode.

Similar with the last "sex scene" with the FBI guy, it was a totally nonsense just to rub on our faces that Jane wasn't gay 🫤.

I just rewatched the show and this maybe the most INTENSE queerbaiting of all time. When Maura CRIED tears of SADNESS at Jane's engagement I was CERTAIN we were getting Rizzles. Its actually quite insulting how much this show relied on queerbaiting when it still wouldve been great without. I thoroughly enjoyed rewatching it.
At the time I also believed this was the most intense queerbaiting ever, but then came SuperCorp from the CW Supergirl series between Kara Danvers aka Supergirl and Lena Luthor. Two shows that had the potential to show the deep respect and healthy friendship between two women who were also in a relationship. So many lost opportunities.
Their eye sex was great. What killed me was that 20 years earlieer Xena became more main text as the show went on and these two were shoved further into the closet. At least while Sasha was filming Shameless in 2012 we were allowed to enjoy her "Rack of God™ lol. These two had great chemistry.
