Hard to argue with that bonkers score! Some strategic quibbles though (more than any previous round):
Returning to the city to recruit on turn 1 seems like the best way to use your influence cards... but not the best way to max your score. Call to Glory already guarantees you the Mages regardless of where you move, so all you're gaining are the Catapults, and the cost you're paying is huge: on top of spending a whole turn, you're losing the use of the combat abilities AND damage-soaking meatbodies of both the heroes AND the fire monks. (Even though you're going to have to ditch one of them when you CtG the Mages, you could at least use it first.) Furthermore, the Catapults are a lot worse here (next to Mages) than they usually are.
You could also have netted another turn by leaving the smallest guy in the last city alive, so as to not trigger the game end; you'd have to spend a second turn taking it out, but you'd get 2 more before that.
Of course, these considerations seem kind of moot with the map being totally locked-in. Had you instead placed the final city tile to the left, you could have looped down and approached it from below, along the way hitting the tomb and at least one of the two altars, plus whatever the extra countryside tile offered.
Last thing, re. reputation management: This is an area I still feel pretty unskilled in, but I think it's pretty clear here that, with a stack full of great units AND CtG to make it even greater, a deck already bulging with power, and only a handful of turns remaining, reputation is worth considering only insofar as a resource to be spent, not to obsessively shore up. (As you say, there's no reward for ending with it high.) You state at some point that it's still important because, What if, on the last turn, there's nothing better to do to gain extra points than to interact in the city? I think on reflection you'll probably agree that this is a bad reason (on several levels)!
    [/"negative" feedback]
Zooming out: I thoroughly enjoyed this whole well-played, well-explained, and well-produced series, and often found myself gasping/laughing/groaning along with you. Thank you for taking the time to put it together!

Thanks for the advice and the compliments. I appreciate both in equal measure.
I probably did worry overmuch about reputation as things went on, but I don't think I tended to do anything really explicitly for the sake of it. It was just always one of a couple considerations when making various decisions.
Regarding maxing out the score, there may have been a couple things here or there to eke out a few more points, but as I recall playing the final round I didn't feel like I had a ton of options for score boosting given where I was on the map at the time. I couldn't know for sure what cards I'd get to hand either, so I wanted to make sure I could take out the last city. Didn't want to backtrack to get more points, and wound up being able to do pretty much everything else possible on that last tile. It's minor, but the extra turns you spend are also losing you 3+ points every time int he final tally because of the dummy drawing more cards. Points all well taken, though. I'm sure I got lucky, and as I said from the outset I don't consider myself a top shelf player. I'm just a narrator. :D

Fantastic score and great videos which have really helped my MK strategy and overall appreciation and enjoyment of the game. I’d be interested in your thoughts on playing against Volkare and also the solo Shades of Tesla. Do you enjoy them and play them as often as base solo? I’ve played Volkare just once on easy and beat him and it was a very different experience to straight solo. I kinda liked not scoring, and shooting just for survival and victory without pressure on a points tally. If you did a play through video of any of those expansions I’d happily watch! Anyhow, thanks again for the excellent videos and tutorials.

Just finished watching the whole thing, thank you for making this happen. I learned a lot of the rules, and ready for my city assault. Congrats on the humongous win, incredible and well done. Does the score stand till this day? Is it possible to break 300?

It remains my best. I've read reports of over 300, but I don't have any others above 250. I don't get to play as often as I like, to be honest. It's not like other games are pulling me away. I just have to keep the lights on.

    Well played ^_^
My quick estimation of score would be around 280-290. Hope to see the exact counting soon to see how good is my guess.
