Thank you so much for the wonderful uploads. I'm only 40 (these shows are long before my time) but they take me back to another place in time and I'm grateful. Great channel!

I love the footsteps when they run the sound is hilarious. These stories are all so good the writers must have been so talented to keep coming up with clever stories. To suspense and to OTR thank you so much

A John Dickson Carr story is never a miss. He has well-thought-out twists and solutions.

Suzy the Floozy = Annoying. But these shows are better than TV during June 2020 Pandemic.

Good stuff! If you can find it, watch a movie called "A Dark and Stormy Night". The male and female protagonists are based on the two reporters from this radio play. Plus, it's very funny.

Air Date:11.17.1942 ( November 17, 1942)Plot:+ "Menace In Wax". 9:30 P.M. Two English reporters discover a secret code hidden in Mme. She married a French Man named Tussard and came to London and she founded Madam Tussard’s Wax Works. There it is still in Marleborne near Baker Street station, not the original building, that was destroyed by fire but it remained untouched. On a darker shadow the revolution came to England, they blasted high explosives on that street all along the road and hit the cinema next door. We are going to London under the bomber. The army guy Branson sounds a lot like Ray Milland (I may have spelt his surname incorrectly?)

If there was a point to Suzy's phony French accent I missed it. Maybe it was written into the script just to make her annoying?
