Uhm, just giving advice, in written pattern, it could be confusing if you kinda didn’t stick to the first term for an action. Example: into the magic ring vs into the circle, but thanks for the written pattern.
Y'all welcome, I added my own pattern for strawberry cuz I wanted a smaller one anyways: STRAWBERRY: 6SC into magic ring r 2: [1 sc, inc]x3. (9) r 3: [2 sc, inc]x3. (12) r 4: [3 sc, inc]x3. (6) - Cut off the yarn and fasten the ends. The leafy part is crocheted with yarn B. r 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the second chain from the hook. (6) = magic circle r 2: [4 ch, starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, crochet 3 sc along the chain, sl st in the next stitch]x6. (6 leafy things) - Cut off the yarn but save approximately 20 cm so that you have something to attach the leafy thing to the strawberry with. Fasten the other yarn end. ASSEMBLING - Sew the leafy part onto the top of the strawberry. - Embroider with yellow yarn seeds onto the strawberry. NEXT SECTION: flower yellow: 5sc into magic ring slip stitch and fasten off white: attached into yellow part with slip stitch rnd 2: ch.3 *(YO and pull up a loop) 4 times Yo slip stitch through all but 2 loops, YO pull through 2 remaining loops, ch.3 slip stitch into same stitch* slip stitch into next stitch and chain 4, rep *to* repeat this whole pattern until you have 5 puffs, slip stitch, fasten off and cut ends STEM: Green ch.60 leave yarn tails @each end LEAFS: green -ch. 16 -startint in 2nd ch from hook* sc, hdc, DC in next 3, hdc, sc,* slip st, ch.1 rep *to* -starting on backside, repeat whole pattern so types of stitches line up on the bottom side - slst in 1st st and fasten off weave in ends ‼️ASEMBLY‼️ -ATTATCH STEM THROUGHT CH.1 SPACE ON LEAF SEW EACH END OF STEP TO THR TOP OF STRAWBERRY AND ANY PETAL ON FLOWER! YA DONE!
I always put my hook into the first chain of the magic circle and then pull the ring closed with the hook in the stitch. This helps with that stitch getting super tight, something about closing the magic ring makes that stitch impossible to get a hook into. Hope this helps!
Hiii, do you have the pattern written? bc this way it's much easier for me, although it's okay if you don't have it. n btw this work looks super cute, I love it ♡
Hii!! Thank you both for the insights, I’ll definitely do a written pattern for my next videos! As of right now, I only have step by step instructions for this one :(
Just finished! It’s so cute!! I did feel it was a little fast at times because I’m newer at crocheting but I got there eventually! Love your tutorials ❤
hm, i'm new to crocheting and somehow i can't follow your desciption for the strawberry ;-; why do you do the single chain thing each row? and then you go back into the same crochet? so there's three stitches in one crochet? it looks so uneven and bulky when i do it... where does one row end? i did some amigurumi before this and the tutorials i followed just keep going without the chain and mark the end of each row so you don't loose track and there's a specific number of stitches you should have at the end of each row. but i can't follow you at all ;-; is there any way for you to explain this more in a more detailed way?
Hi! I know its been two weeks, but if I may help: get a stitch marker! its hard to keep track with sc, so, lets say, you’ve made your magic ring and made 5 sc in it, then when you slip stitch and chain one, make one sc as normal and mark with your stitch marker! then you’ll do the round as normal and when you get to the end youll know the row ends bc of the stitch marker!
@@camila1587 hey hey~ i finished the strawberry following a different tutorial, but thank you for the helpful reply. at the time i tried stitch marking with a piece of yarn, but somehow i still got lost, because i didn't understand where to place it. i have not seen this method before of slip stitching and then chaining one. is there any specific reason to do it? i think i did something wrong because it ended up very off looking, but i kept wondering what the logic behind doing this is, since i don't know a lot of crocheting techniques yet and want to learn more
I chain one after each stitch to keep track of my rows! When I was first starting out a stitch marker was definitely my best friend and or a Bobby pin works just fine as well!
Hi! tysm for the pattern, Do you recommend doing this with cotton or acrylic yarn? I always use acrylic for my amigurumis, but this is going to be on the car and people is not going to touch it.
0:24 advice: usually everyone called the first chain of the single crochet in a magic circle as ‘first stitch’, my first time hearing the term, I took the literal meaning and got confused because you really can’t get your hook into the literal first chain..
I’ve followed the written pattern and tried following the video but the strawberry ends up bulky and not looking like a strawberry every time…is there a way to fix this or is it a me issue?
I can’t do it 💔 this is the second pattern and it filed 🥹 Someone teach me should i start with the same stitch of ch 1 in every row or not ? And stitch over every ch such as slip stitch and ch1 spaces ?

@@lullalupswell you suck at explaining so that prolly why they were asking, your directions aren't specific and don't give a count of how many stitches you shouldve made by the end of the row, love the design overall but the explaining needs to be better if ur going to try to make a tut

if you don't have a stitch marker you could also use a safety pin or piece of yarn in the stitch you want to mark!
