Hezi's bag is hella deep. He's literally an offensive juggernaut. What makes Hezi so nice is he's a North/South player. He may set you up going east or west but best believe his intentions are North and South. When you learn how to play that way is where you will find a breakthrough. You start to play that way but when the defender cuts you off you play horizontally. Take what the defense gives you but always intend to play north and south.
Good analysis you can know all this but if your not athletic enough to keep up with him knowing this gives you no advantage Kenny is just outclassed plain simple

Loved this. You could actually see Hezi gaining respect for your game. You did it right asking to run it back top of the key. unlimited dribbles let you open up the bag just as much as Hezi
When it comes to technical skills-- passing, ball handling, shooting-- Kenny is very solid and definitely looks like a guy who has played organized ball. However, in one-on-ones he gets exposed because he lacks those "little touches" needed to actually make progress or get by people.
For example, he's not "wide" enough when he dribbles. He keeps the ball too close to his center and never really threatens to make a big step to the right or to the left. Furthermore, he's never really threatening to blow by his opponent, or to just spin on them, etc. This is why Cash (a guy who can't shoot or dribble) is able to beat him sometimes.
No matter how well you dribble, if you just dribble in place or settle for stepback Js, you're not going to be that successful. You gotta create space, threaten blow-bys, theaten to make big, wide steps, etc. You gotta scare 'em and pressure 'em Kenny. ESPECIALLY when you have a height and size disadvantage.

I think he can shoot, but have you seen him play 5v5? Haven’t seen him do much in those situations either bc he can’t get around defenders, doesn’t cut or anything (not mad at this bc he’s short). He dribbles and goes nowhere, like you said, so it’s mostly just him jacking
He has a slow first step so he needs to make open jump shots. If he makes open jumpshots then it will set up his drive

Kenny played some good defense. Just has to work on his offensive moves off the bounce. Moving real fast but does not have moves to create separation. Also hezi god need some kind of clock on him this man make you play defense for like 15 sec every possession lol.
Kenny is a lowkey a good defender. He is good at staying in front for the most part and tries to contest every shot. He need to try to poke the ball more especially that lil poke u can get when they gather the ball after passing u going for the lay up and also recognizing the gather before the shot and trying to strip it. Hard to do with a player with a good hessi tho

He's pretty good going left to right. He just has trouble recovering and getting a good contest when he starts moving backwards. Also Hesi is pretty strong. There aren't a lot of regular hoopers that are gonna be able to stop Hezi from going downhill without fouling him.
