Matty gets the mother (and life) he always wanted, Maisey and her dad get away and can create a life together, and some very bad guys get killed. But poor Jack...he really draws the short straw in this film!
The ending would be a lot better if he was able to escape with Maisey (Jenny) and her father, and take the money. He actually showed a lot of decency upon encountering Maisey's real mother, so he deserved better.
Matty literally sold the entire fckin movie and did my boy jack so dirty even after Jack came back to save him😢

I could tell instantly that the father was being held against his will. Also, dang Jack. Sucks to be you for sure.
Yeah especially in the beginning I got the weird feeling he was a prisoner like he was being purposely poisoned in that wheelchair. CREEPY MOVIE.
I knew that old woman was crazy😂 that man looked scared as hell when she was feeding him
What I dont get is why kidnap the other family if yours got killed in a car accident what if it was her fault on top of that Maisey needs to go back and help Jack he helped her!!
@@maryammoeen2452 Because she's insane and she replaced her own husband and child with their husband and child. And there's no going back to Jack because Rose moved him and Matty and the police are already searching for Rose...

I thought for sure Pa was Rose’s real husband but was the one who accidentally killed their son so she was punishing him. My jaw HIT THE FLOOR when the truth was actually revealed. Loved that twist 😂
Actually when I saw her injecting the medicine and the facial expressions and look pa gave instantly told me the woman is doing something seriously wrong to him but he was too powerless against her
The ending was a little harsh, I didn't see that coming poor Jack
What an absolutely wild movie from start to finish. Not at all what you would ever expect. Well done!
I knew that Rose was keeping Pa sick, which meant they weren't her real family
I stopped watching these for a few months, got bored but now im addicted again...
i kinda feel bad for jack. i think it would've been better if he just died if he didn't escaped, instead of being tortured like that. but good thing, jenny and her dad escaped and matty gets a loving mother that will care for him forever. i just wonder too how the police didn't ask jenny where they've been all those years (since they're both missing people yk) and they didn't do much further investigations about rose and her shenanigans. they could've saved jack too if only they did.
Even if she told where she has been, it's explained in the video that Rose, Matty and Jack have move to a new secluded house so the police would take long to find them.

She saved a mentally unwell young man from a life of crime. She may be evil but she raised Maisie to be a normal person. Matty actually got a good ending.

I knew from the start of your recap it's gonna be a good movie so I stopped watching and search for the movie and watch it in full. Thank you so much. Really like the plot twist. But I wonder why no follow up from the police after they found Maisy and her dad. For sure Maisy knows the place.

@@Sequin25 You might be correct. Seems that people in the area don't seem to care. Also, the girl was grown enough on the photo not to mistake her mom... The film needs some stretch of disbelief. Oh, and the young mental case son was a fugitive killer, so they had to have a case to hunt him down - with copters and every possible lead.

Since Maisey and her dad know exactly the location of the house, I doubt how long Rose can stay in that house.
Normally police would question Maisey and then go to arrest Rose immediately.
They moved to a new location.

Why would Jacks brother allow him to be drugged and tortured in the lighthouse at the end? Are the audience expected to believe he didnt know Jack was even there despite all the cameras and the huge amount of work involved in keeping him alive.
