I used to think this was an unwinnable matchup for Amsa. Him pushing Armada to an almost game 5, has me convinced that he can pull it off. What a great set!!

Does anyone else feel like this looks doable for him in the next 1-2 times that they play? He went from looking like he had no chance against Armada, to at least being able to win on his counter-pick, to looking like he could have forced a game five. The rate that aMSa has shown improvement this year is staggering tbh.
I think amsa was really focusing on his hbox matchup and he took it. This is definitely the next step he is looking for and if he can do it that just keeps melee alive and I believe in it.
Another stitch at 23:06. Btw stitch actual rates are 1/58 roughly not 1/250 and 1/15 for dot eye. Other rates of items are 1/768 for beam sword, 2/768 for bomb-omb and 3/768 for Mr. Saturn
3:14 But it still does force an extra step and that’s honestly, that’s like number one thing in a lot of edgeguarding, in a lot of anti-combo, DI, almost everything, just make them take an extra step man. Every extra point of failure is a chance for you to escape, survive, and make a come back.
I think, amsa didn't really played completly lame here. I Guess if he plays more like the last tournements, he would have done better, because this was not his top form. I was missing some thinks AND: he just ate too much downsmashes from armada
