So this is the final product from the Budget Build series. it's been a long road of innovation, testing and development. I'm proud to say this is an absolute hit, right on the money. This build is an excellent starting point for anyone that desires action on a budget, as a way to get into fabrication, or a way for your kids or wives to get in on the action; that was always the entire purpose of this build. I hope your builds are going great and I'll see you on the next one. Enjoy the build.

The huge plane on skis is wild!
Great to see another video, especially one showing the evolution of the Crosskart. However, that C-130 on skis… NEXT LEVEL 😂
This is the next project after I finish our house. Daughter will love it. Thanks for doing the plans! 👍
15:48 That mustache was a thing of beauty!
Awesome video showing the changes over time … it’s what got me into building one. It is a super fun project. Nice to see that duromax 500 surface on a kart. But still think you need a kids kart design according to some of the mothers here 😀😀. Lots of fun here in any case….thanks for a great design.
18:32 welding upside down on cardboard is wild.
Really exceptional! It would be awesome to see shock towers with multiple mounting locations. Almost like a RC car, allowing for adjustments in shock angle, and ride height, along with the multiple locations on the a-arms ... id spend all weekend tuning the damn thing!
Great video as always man. This is the build that inspired me to build my Predator 459 powered VF-1. I actually just ordered a high output set of Honda coils. They are rated for 10amps. 😊
Nice! I will look into that as well. Do you have to update/add a regulator or rectifier when you add HO coils?
@@KJRaycing yessir. I haven’t installed them yet, but the Predator 459 mod group on FB said I had to have the rectifier so I followed their advice. Those guys are running audio systems, lights, etc in their 459 powered golf carts.
I'm waiting to get orders before I start another big project and it might be one of these
Tonka mode with 4WD would be awesome. Lots of deep mud here.
What a great way to close out a chapter in versatility and fun! I hope you can make it to the fall Busco event. Would love to see this in person after all this time.
Man me too! I always plan to go and definitely want to let you guys drive these fun things more!
Now time for a front engine build with a transmission. A track/street/off road weapon
Yes!! I have so many ideas for different builds, I really hope I get to do them.
One day ….. I will build it
I believe in u
Mantaaaaaaappppppp 👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Regarding your Duromax 500 engine. Are you still running the stock carburetor? You can get a big improvement in throttle response and a bump in performance by moving to a Mikuni carburetor. Why not? Another evolution in the buggy build.
The stock carb on the Duromax is pretty decent, it has a fuel/air screw if that tells you anything. But I’m also not against squeezing some more power out of it or throttle response like you said. We’ll see what happens next!
Which kit(3”or6”extension)you suggest for someone 6’4”? Seat set furthest back. For comfortable steering and comfortable leg room. Thanks new to the community
Can you show us the indepth process of getting one street legal? Even if it's general guidelines as each state is different
Hi! There are no such engines in our country, for comparison, tell me the main characteristics of the duramax engine (torque, maximum RPM and weight), thank you for the informative videos!
What is the measurement for c44
Oh my gosh! Hook me up with this! Wanted to build one of these my whole life!
Where do i sign?
Thank you! Man they are so fun to build and drive!!! Check out KJRaycing.com or links in the description for all of the info!
Has been my favorite project by far and a large inspiration for my own buggy/crosskart build (I used a 440cc Duromax). One question I do have though - did you remove the governor on your engines? I did on mine but part of me wants to avoid having to do so on my next build to keep costs down and simplicity up (governor removals are free...billet parts are not!).
Aw thanks man! I have an upcoming video about what I did with the governor… stay tuned!
@KJRaycing I'll be watching!
@@BunkerBloghey you should remove the governor it’s really easy I would also highly recommend heavier valve springs and a stage one kit which includes a bigger jet a air filter and a exhaust
It will wake up your motor big time and you won’t need any billet parts
@homerooseguera213 Yes that's how I built my current engine. Heavier valve springs, chromoly pushrods, roller rockers (stock ratio), intake, exhaust, thinner head gasket, billet rod and flywheel, HP spark plug, and probably some stuff I'm forgetting. Only thing stock is the cam. The governor doesn't reduce power on stock cam. Peak power on these engines (stock) is usually between 2500-3000 rpm anyway, which is within the engine's governed RPM range. Removing the governor just allows higher RPM and thus wheel speed. That's it. Billet parts are there for safety/longevity and **should** be installed if you run heavier valve springs without a governor. Otherwise you risk the connecting rod breaking or the flywheel exploding (VERY dangerous and CAN kill you).

I forgot to mention, your poor yard!
One of my boys was taking a friend for a ride in a rzr in the snow.
He hit EVERY inch of our yard and fields.
I'm still cursing him for the ruts I hit and bumpy ride every time I cut grass!
😠
Yeah I “mostly” run street tracker style tires to keep the ruts down. And when you’re helping make the ruts you don’t get as upset on the mower…
