Like first after all these years arch never loved Ronnie he was just trying to hide his feelings for Betty
Betty was so vulnerable when Cheryl talked to her so she took her advice and just went with it but we know she has been having feelings for arch for like 10 years
Betty also loves jug but she is so confused right now
And finally why Betty pushed him away
This episode made me so mad bc ur so right she just listened to cheryl when cheryl was never her friend until like 2 years ago. And she is just afraid of changing everything even though she knows it's going to happen.

I'm still happy with this episode because it means that their love is slowly building up. It would have been weird for them to be just together now. They have to fight for each other to prove that they really love each other and that they are not just following the past that they are supposed to take. And sometimes there are person who are destined to be together even if they don't know about it or they refuse to see it. The writters have so much more material now. They can really give us the perfect endgame! They have to show the feelings that archie have always had about betty. They have to prove us that they can’t fight their love for each other!

You don't realize that they don't love each other that way. And it reminds me of the same story Nate and Blair had.
For Blair, Nate was her first love just like Nate was Blair, and it took them a while to realize it. And it's the same story as Betty and Archie.
I am not saying that they do not explore "that love" but I assure you that they will not go together.
And Veronica may not be Archie's soulmate, but Betty and Jughead are soulmates. It has been proven a million times. But Archie sees her as the sweet innocent girl she was, and Jughead knows all her facets, her dark side, the good side and more.

I honestly feel so bad for Archie bc he looked really hurt by Betty. And Betty definitely Betty influenced him to do the Navy Academy. Archie just wants to get over from being heartbroken by leaving Riverdale. Honestly not to be mean, but I don't think Archie loves Veronica anymore, but I think Betty loves Jughead and that's the problem. Like Veronica said, "They are soulmates". And Archie never even reacted. He was just jealous. This isn't the end for Barchie bc she doesn't burn one of the diaries which means a part of her will always love Archie. Betty is just too afraid to explore with Archie because she already feels safe with Jughead despite her saying she feels safe with him (Archie). She knows things are changing and that's why she doesn't want to change things between her and Jug. Can't wait for the next episode! Hopefully they will get some time together like Archie getting closure or something idkk
