Orkney Christmas Tractor Run 2021

With the usual community events cancelled, the farmers of Orkney organised a tractor run round Kirkwall to raise money for two Orkney charities. Their aim was to raise £4,000. The total raised stands at over £34,000.
There were more than 180 tractors, of all ages and sizes, dressed with lights. The run took place on public roads, so they all had to use their headlights and orange running lights.
I was stationed on the Old Finstown Road, at the old Walliwall quary enterance. The convoy came passed me, up to the junction with Sunnybank, where they turned right. The string of lights is the tractors on their way back towards Hatston.
