I bought a book on Celia Scott, and on a major French sculptor. And, seven minutes away, is a lovely, proper, art school. Their sculpture is quite the same as Celia.
I suspect you are the Phyllida I knew 100 years ago with your mum and dad. what a fantastic career. Have followed you from Europe. very best for the new year. Andrew Allen
It's dreadful on purpose, and there's actually alot of "Beautiful" modern art out there. It's just that this installation is supposed to stick out, be mentally uncomfortable to look at, and resemble a dilapidated junkyard.
That's kind of the point. It's similar to outsider art and is meant to instil that same feeling, that it's like a derelict building or an abandoned construction site where a homeless person lives.
Ohaho, why is this art? Who says so? I mean, she seems nice and intriguing, but isn't it just some kind of self-expression and nothing more? Does this really speak to anyone? Maybe it's just there for others to discuss what art does mean. ;)
Always easier to criticize. Maybe try your talent and let's see where you end up.
Is it satire? No.. its news output from the BBC.

Dreadful, like most modern art.

Talent, creativity, transcends gender.
It looks like messed up hobo hut

There is something familiar about this art. Even tho it looks post apocalyptic. Wtf is art anyway
Looks terrible no offense
That's the point, it looks ugly, just as the artist had intended. Which means she did a good job.
Post-Modernism everybody
