Good choice for the south, but can you defend Farnworth? Access to hardwood possible? What is needed to take out the HQ? I already have T3 buildings at the first village to research higher gear. Still not sure where to have the next village. West of Farnworth probably before extend south.
@@Shogunator Thank you. Yes, you can defend from there. Raiding party moves slow so you can quickly assemble from there and then run after them.
It's surprisingly not so difficult to take out Lord Ashbourne. A party of 12 good skilled, fed and armored soldiers should do the trick. You do have access to hardwood. I ended up only having two big villages with only one mining camp for Iron and one for Peat. I had everything I needed with that setup😊
@@axefield Thank you, I will try that. What is your experience with iron and granite mining camps? I tried during a gameplay last april, transport got killed. Now there is many patrols, seems I have to eliminate bandit camps and patrols before set up a mining outpost. Need second village before I can do that.
@@Shogunator granite I somehow managed to mine from my original base up north so that was not a problem. I did clear put quite a few bandit camps before I started with my iron mining camp so I think that was my saving grace.
For the second base just start by building one or two storage structures with housing tent and let two villager move there. Then transport all materials from main base and let those 2 villagers build. That is the quickest way for me
@@axefield Good progress I had the last 2 days raiding bandit camps. Northern part cleared to below Blackridgepool and HQ, complete east of HQ to Crashmere. Gained 3 fighters that were captured in the camps (quests). You can do that from the starting village with 12 soldiers average skills 5-6, very little T3 equipment yet. Farnworth and Blackridge not freed yet. Create a fallback save before heading off in early in the morning, longest runs take until late afternoon second day. Return when all bags are filled. I was lucky, no reclamation parties during these trips, difficulties set to easy.
Badly need a hardwood outpost now, then second village.
Very much thanks for your video and all comments, extremely helpful!
@Shogunator awesome man! Seems like you are doing very well! If you liberate Farnworth you can buy hardwood from them. That is generally the route I take. Saves a lot of time and effort from getting hardwood from outposts😄 Glad it helps!👏👏
So, did you grab most of your southern town villagers from cras and horn? I'm up to like 5k a piece to recruit anywhere North of the bridges, so I'm gonna have to get everyone I can from down there
Yeah that's right! I found some pretty buffed villagers in Crasmere, not so much in Horndean. I'm also at 5k per villager
Can I safely move to the southern area of the river with only Tier 1 equipment?
@@수퍼강가딘-s5d you need to be at least late tier 2 to move there. Foes are pretty formidabble south of river
@@axefield I'm trying to build a tier 2 town south of the river, but what if I need tier 2 late gear to get there? Something doesn't seem right...
@@수퍼강가딘-s5d ideally you want to liberate Farnworth first before you move south of river. Farnworth provide plenty of tier 2 materials that you can trade to help you progress. 😊👍
