    Yes.
I would gladly outsorce my mixing to you and use your expertise for it, so I can just focus on making music.
I encourage you to make as many decisions as possible, put as little knobs on the plugins as possible, and make presets like '"for kick, for snare, for low gain guiatars, for lead, for bass" etc. So I slap an instance of the plugin on every track that will get the sound 80 percent there in no time.
This is why I have ML800. Simple. One clean channel, one drive channel, and lets go 😄

Thank you for this post dude! I'm for sure looking into both Reaper and Flatline 2! I use Live right now but Reaper seems really neat and this Flatline tools seems really awesome.
Do you have experience with Live? If so, comparison video? Tips and tricks? etc? could be a whole series and I certainly would watch any posts you make on the subject. (I watch every post anyway tho haha)
Aside from that, I noticed you have 4 tracks on Spotify but only 3 on UA-cam Music.
Would you be able to give more love to your UA-cam Music page or is there a reason why you wouldn't be interested in doing that?
Aside aside, what drum software do you use? I was thinking about getting Toontracks Superior Drummer 3.

      thanks for your comment!
i used live before i changed to reaper, reason was better and easier audio slipping as well as generally more customizability. i didn't really plan to do videos about ableton live tbh but i'll put it on my list :)
the reason that there are only 3 tracks on yt music is that the fourth track, empires extinction, is from a way older phase of mine when i didn't want to upload to yt - i will give it some more love in the future though ;)
for drums i'm using ggd invasion pretty much exclusively, was the cheapest premium kit at the moment and it still sounds awesome for every genre in my opinion :)

Bit of a complicated process to install and get it running in your DAW... How did you do it as I'm quite stuck!

You need to download and install the program, then download iLok (if you don't have it yet), log into/create an iLok account, add the serial number (found in your Submission Audio email receipt) to iLok, add an activation license to the computer you are using (via iLok), and then you should be able to boot up Flatline 2 in your DAW of choice.
It's complicated on the first go, but it gets easier after repeated use.

actually i had no issues: setting up an ilok account, activating the license on my computer and installing the plugin worked fine for me :)
pretty much a standard procedure for all the good stuff!

This is unbelievable how good your starting mix was 👀
My mind was blown when you said "I'm new to this" 👀
    Mix walkthrough? 👀

thanks mate! "new to this" is kind of a lie, been doing mixes for a long time but i'm new to really caring about mastering :D
if you're interested in a mixdown of a few songs, sure, why not, might do some in the future :)

2nd on a mixdown request. Now that you’re getting into mastering, have you tried top-down mixing? If so, how do you like it compared to starting your mastering chain after your initial pass at mixing?
