The AFC North was the only division in the NFL where all 4 teams were above .500 since 1932. It wouldn’t be far fetched for the division to send 3 teams to the playoffs. We did it last year. SMH Gruden is super stupid, but I forgot who his dad was.
@@ghostbullet85 no all 4 teams going to play offs was only possible last year where they extended the playoffs. Act north sends 3 teams on the reg, but all 4 will make the playoffs this year
It literally just depends on each teams qb injury luck. If you look in recent years the teams with a serviceable/available qb typically has gone further.
They were a game away from sending all 4 last year. This is what I want so bad to have happen and the North is the only one with a legit shot at it. Hopefully this year it can happen.
The schedule for the Steelers will be their toughest test. The whole back half is loaded with really good teams. If they don't start hot, this season could go really bad.

Honestly tired of the browns hate, not even hate it’s just the lack of appreciation for what the team is doing, they took no time to realize the games Deshaun showed glimpses of Houston also talked about none of the off season moves the key players from last years defense is back, more offensive weapons and defensive weapons in the draft. This is not the same browns team we’ve seen in the past the media will push the narrative that we’re the worst team in the NFL and thats not true.

All 4 of these guys came off very unknownledgable. When talking about the Bengals most of the stuff they said was wrong, it's like they watched one bad game and that's it. The Bengals stopped running wide zone last year and ran duo and power. Also the Bengals ran quick game last year bc they saw the most two high boxes and couldn't attack deep like they did in 21-22. These guys basically took notes on all four teams the last time they saw them, ravens in the playoffs, guess that's the ravens next year. Bengals the first two weeks when Burrow was hurt. The browns Watson of two years ago. The Steelers all there past success is doing a lot of heavy lifting on this show. These guys watched ESPN highlights this off-season and that's all they did.
Just as a browns fan and maybe I’m biased towards the AFC North but all these teams could make runs. Ravens are stacked and adding Henry is huge, I think they will be able to keep him fresher, Bengals gotta hope the tackles play well so burrow can stay healthy but Burton is a little monster if he can keep his head on straight, Steelers defense is still great and I think just having a veteran at QB will be big for them and having QBs that can take deep shots to Pickens to keep defenses honest. Also think Arthur smith is the biggest addition for them. Retooled offensive line with rookies so if they play well that is a huge upgrade. And then for my brownies I think the Browns “leaking” defense at the end of the season was more due to be decimated by injuries. Watson is the questions mark but even with him playing poorly we were 4-1 or 5-1 I believe. They brought in an offensive coordinator Dorsey who worked with Cam newton and Josh Allen to incorporate more spread which they didn’t mention at all. Not to mention this division is the best in part because all 4 have good coaches too. Gonna be a fun season!
If the Steelers don't shut down against bad teams like they did last year, and the injuries aren't too crippling, all four teams could make the playoffs.
Did Justin Pugh just say he wouldn't pay a 2 time MVP at the age of 27 a lot of money lol? Great insights, no stupid hot takes, just pure football dialogue...subscribed 🎯
Only Mahomes and Josh Allen "elevate" their teams and carry them on their backs in playoffs. I think Jordan Love looks like he may the 3rd great playoff QB to be in the League. Lamar and Burrow are elite QBs but need stacked teams to have success. You shouldnt overpay because you need pieces around them for success
@vitigaymer1053 you realize mahomes had a damn good oline, best TE in football, a good rookie wr and a top 10 defense...ijs if we're talking stacked teams😂 btw josh allen has beat Mason Rudolph, skyler thompson, mac Jones, Phillip rivers(last NFL game) and played lamar for a half and huntley for the 2nd half😂
Mike Tomlin goes to the playoffs with bad QB play....😂 it seems that Pittsburgh has upgraded the QB position...if this turns out to be true, the Steelers will win the afc north! Pittsburgh has a really good roster 👍
He said the Steelers didn't hit big plays down the stretch last year but Rudolph hit Pickens several times in the last three to take them from 7-7 to 10-7. They burned the Bengals right out of the gate, won a shootout with Seattle and Rudolph was almost perfect in a downpour in Baltimore.
These guys only seem like they only watch highlights these mfs made no good points this is my first and last time watching this show sad that these pros cnt understand simple football‼️
What “upside” does Fields have that Russ doesn’t? Is it two SBs and having two more appearances blown by his defense? Is it being in MVP conversations for 9 years straight? Is it being the second-winningest QB over an entire decade to arguably the greatest QB to ever play the game. Is it breaking more records than Mothers Against Rap? Is it having the 4th-highest career passer rating in NFL history? Is it having the most efficient December passing stats in NFL history? Is it averaging 3,000+ yards passing, 500+ yards rushing, and 65%+ completion% for his first 8 years? Is it having the highest career 4th quarter passer rating ever, and the highest career passer rating on passes of 20+ and 30+ yards? Is it having more game-winning drives than any QB in NFL history for 9.5 seasons, being the fastest QB to 100 wins in NFL history. Is it being the first QB since Michael Vick to pass for 3,000 yards and 500+ yards in a season? I could go on and on about the stuff Russ has done, but the guy owns more records and distinctions than anyone in the league outside of Aaron Rodgers, and has broken multiple of Rodgers’s records! When you regurgitate narratives you had better have evidence to support them. Justin Fields doesn’t have more “upside” than Russ. He simply has THE POSSIBILITY of playing more years because he’s younger. Those are two very different things. If I had to bet on whether the greatness of Fields’s next 10 years would exceed the greatness of Russ’s next 5, I’ll bet on Russ’s next 5, and I wouldn’t even blink before doing it. Russ can still go to new heights over the next 4-5 years. He’s 35, not 45. Justin fields + Russell Wilson = JustRuss!
I can’t wait for George Pickens to go off this season 1500 yards and 6 touchdowns now that he actually has someone that can get him the ball and I hope he makes you guys eat your words don’t doubt my man
@@BillyBob000-r4sit isn’t overrated, 1/4+ of the starters had injuries over the season plus there is no more wholes anywhere in the defense after a mike hall in the dt room, jordan hicks and another lb in the lb room, and returning every starter.
You can’t just sit there and blame Lamar for playing bad. That Chiefs defense was pretty legendary with what they were doing towards the end of the season.
Nah, it was all on ravens period they all played bad.. flowers fumbling in end zone…game changer Oc doing all passes tring to be cute and going away from what works Game changer Lamar tring to be super man throwing in to triple coverage( game was over at this point) If ravens just played like they usually do, they win the Super Bowl ez last year.. Yes! Yet, nobody is saying the Defense carried Mahomes. Noticed that and contrast it either the way Russ was discussed back in 2013-14, when he won his first SB and performed better than Mahomes did in 2023.
@@aaronclay4665 as long as Lamar is healthy the Ravens Super Bowl window is open. And we have never seen peek Lamar (...and there is a chance we never will since the ravens keep being stubborn), but imagine what Lamar looks like when he has a Tyreek, Jamar chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk level caliber talent on the outside. If Lamar wins 75% of his games when he doesn't have a star wideout just imagine what it would be with one. At this point I would be ok if we just get to see it for just one season. The whole depending on a rookie WR to be your WR1 is all fun and games...except when he makes a rookie mistake at the worst possible time (twice in one drive) in the season. Which is WHY you don't see teams ever depend on a rookie to be the number 1 guy...no matter how good his potential is.
Deshaun Watson had a negative EPA for the season. 34th out of 40 qualified quarterbacks that played last year . Kenny Pickett and Sam Howell were better than him. Sure he was hurt but he wasn't playing well. That one game doesn't save how bad he was. Cleveland's defense had a lot to do with that 5-1 record. They wont despite Watson and not because of him.
😂😂😂 dude, Steelers went 10/7 last season made it to the playoffs with shit QBs. This fool talking about 9/8 this season with Wilson and Fields. They beat the Ravens and the Bengals both times and split with the browns last season. Steelers will win the division this season. The defense is going to hurt QBs in 2024, haters.
The Browns made the playoffs having started 5 QB’s in 23 and had the best defense in the league. Watson doesn’t have to be anything other than adequate for the Browns to win the North. These guys are talking out of their azz, from the heart not their heads.
“D’uh show me one drive” The fat guys are wrong. Watson had 124 passer rating in game three before he INJURED HIS THROWING SHOULDER. He’s was spectacular against the Ravens in the 2nd half with a HIGH ANKLE SPRAIN AND A BROKEN SHOULDER.
Colt McCoy sir you were always an underrated QB in the NFL. Not sure if you still desire to play but I feel you always had something extra that other QBs do not. I am a buckeyes fan, but I always wanted to see you do well because I had faith in you. It's the hardest job in the world man and you are really good at it.
I disagree with their aspect of the Browns Pugh was right they have playmakers they made the playoffs with 39 year old Joe Flacco. Cooper, Njoku and the best oline when healthy. Now Deshaun has to be consistent. New OC now and we added Jeudy and most of the defense returning. This team should finish at least 3rd in the division with a sneaky wildcard. It rides with Deshaun but Pugh got it right if he shows half of what he did in Houston this team will be scary
I’m sick of folks like Gruden’s racist behind with the disrespect to Russell Wilson and his WIFE Ciara! You would think you’ve done enough research, and should pretty much know the man is married. I don’t like him as the QB in Pittsburgh, but that’s no reason for the disrespect.
Him not knowing that Ciara is his wife, isn’t racist. I don’t like Gruden either, but everyone can’t know or care to know everyone else’s business. To say that’s racist, is one of the most ignorant things I’ve heard in a while.
Its normal for ppl to think the Bengals wont be good. What is normal is when ppl think the team who whooped the 49ers and the Bills and who has the only QB who can hang with Mahomes as well as beat him in his own house in the playoffs is going to struggle.
I’m shocked that these former players and coaches sound so dumb and ill advised regarding the actual topic. AFC sent 3 teams to the playoffs last year! Regardless of who you root for, if you love and KNOW football how can you argue that the AFC is not the best division in football. It’s not even close!! No division is even comparable to this division
As a Bengals fan they didn't even know what we ran last year, after week two. Also as a Bengals fan I know the AFC north teams way better than these dudes and they didn't do much research on any of the teams
Pittsburgh is (on paper) remarkably better than last year and went 10-7 with 3 bums playing QB in one of the worst coordinated offenses of all time. Pickens literally had over 1000 yards last year with them. What the actual hell are these clowns talking about 😂😂
Bengals went 9-8 without Burrow for half the season against the toughest schedule in the NFL last year. They're not going 8-9 with a full healthy season of Burrow against a last place schedule
Trey Hendrickson signed a contract last year. The boost in the cap, and the spike in EDGE pay, spooked him. Tee Higgins signed his tag the day after OTAs. Both are with the team on day one of camp and ALL IN.
Tee is gone...and you will probably lose Jamar chase too. This was written in stone the day Joe Burrow took a contract like he was an elite game changer. We have literally never seen Joe burrow play QB where he doesn't have a way more superior WR corps than the other side...not even in college when he was throwing to Jamar Chase AND Justin Jefferson AT THE SAME TIME. Its a huge factor when all you need is to identify the right matchup before the play begins because you will always have a wr3 better than the opposing teams cb3....when you have THREE WR1s. Next season is where we will see the true Joe Burrow because by this time next year Both those guys will be gone. And if you automatically assume you will keep chase no matter what guess again. Mahomes was on a MUCH more team friendly contract and still lost Tyreek hill in the end. Paying these guys like Game changers before you have any proof that they can actually carry a team when the contract kicks in is always a mistake, Newest adds to that list....Justin Herbert and now Trevor Lawrence.
These guys obviously do not watch Cleveland. Cleveland had many keys starters hurt and won 11 games. How do you have more confidence in Pittsburg than Cleveland. Mind blowing. Btw I can give a game where watson was good, against the ravens and even the titans
One thing about the Ravens. And I do think they are a solid team. Their biggest foe is the AFC North itself. By that I mean, of the 4 losses they had last season, 3 of those came from 1 loss to the Browns, and 2 from the (couldn't get anything going on the offense) Steelers. If the Browns, Bengals, and Steelers inprove from last year, the Ravens could have a tough time at it.

Hey Gruden, didn't Watson go to Baltimore and win last season? 14 for 14 in the second half with a broken throwing shoulder? Your view points are invalid saying he did absolutely nothing.
All AFC North teams have a Top 10 defense and at the end of the day its gonna come down to coaching and offense, so based off that i have the Cleveland Browns in 1st i think all around on offense they have the most complete offense in the AFC North in 2nd i have the Baltimore Ravens Lamar is just a winner when it comes to regular season i think there offense is close with the Bengals but ima give it to the Ravens simply because of the OL, in 3rd i got the Bengals only because i feel like the OL is still questionable, Joe Burrow has dealt with injuries but they went to the Super Bowl a couple years ago and were the only team to beat Mahomes in the playoffs and last but not least in 4th place i have the Steelers only cause Russ is a questionable QB, their OL is terrible and they have the worse WR core out of the whole AFC North ye they have Tomlin but i still think with the new additions and OC they aren’t gonna have everything figured out until almost mid season. So ye let me know what y’all think on this.
Please stop this narrative of any NFL owner not having enough money to pay the team when they get more money than all the players combined. Quarterback is the highest paid position and the Bengals have the highest paid player at that position. The wide receiver is the second highest paid position, and when the Ja'marr Chase deal gets done, he will be the highest paid player at his position. There is a salary cap that controls labor costs. What a business model.
The ravens getting Henry isn't a game changer....the ravens were always a good running team. Most teams are hoping the ravens give the ball to Henry...then they don't have to worry about Lamar Jackson
These guys dont watch the browns, yeah the browns lost their offensive coordinator alex van pelt but got an upgrade with ken Dorsey, they lost their O line coach brian Callaghan but got the O line coach from Seattle and assistant O line coach from philly , they improved on offense by getting jeudy and the defense inproved a little with hordan hicks and devin bush , and their defense was " leaking oil" at the end of last season to injuries, Myles played injured , denzel was injured, grant delpit was injured, jaun Thornhill was injured, Maurice Hurst was injured , and the entire O line was injured even having to use 3rd and 4th stringers , no deshaun, no nick chubb, amari cooper got hurt and played with a knicked ankle and Elijah Moore got concussed and we still made the playoffs, if we had atleast 5 or 6 healthy starters in that wildcard game against Houston it would have been a repeat of week 16 when Cleveland blew them out
Just gonna leave this here: Lamar Jackson 2023 MVP Season, 16 games, 3,678 Yards, 24 Passing TDs, 67.2% Completion percentage. Russ Wilson 2023 "Trash Season" stats: 15 games, 3,070 Yards, 26 passing TDs, 66.4% Completion Percentage. Lamar won MVP even tho he was 15th in passing yards, and tied 11th in TDs! He wasn't even top 10 in important numbers. Russ will be just fine.
You know the bengals have a new OC and play caller right? To expect the same offense is silly. Joe will be under center much more this year. No chance Bengals go 500. No chance.

I can't agree that Garrett is the best defensive player in the league... he's not even the best in the division... he won DPOY based on a statistic about almost getting to the QB and TJ had way more responsibilities on and off the line and still led the league in sacks....
Bro of course yet another group of people that doesn’t see what the browns did last year and thinks they won’t be good this year what’s it gonna take to shut everyone up
Lol, I see this Gruden isn't any smarter than the other one. This guy out here thinkin the steelers go 9-8 this year, when they were 10-7 last year with some of the worst QB play in the league. Even if Russ *only* plays as well as he did in Denver with a way less talented group, that would still double the number of TDs the steelers got passing the ball last year. The only guy the steelers lost from last year that was of any value at all is Dionte Johnson. Oh, and they were 5-1 in the division last year too. So, the defense got better. The offense got better. And the schedule is easier. But somehow they're gonna win less games? Yeah, makes perfect sense.

I'm a Bengal fan but these were the worst takes I every heard they were wrong about all 4 teams I'll never watch these guys again 🗑️🚮 takes
As a Steelers fan these guys have at least given us something to agree on
😂 @@comedianwoodymcadam1
@@vitigaymer1053bengals are not stacked, 3 good skill players, horrible offensive line and a bend but not brake defense is not stacked

Jay Gruden is 35-49-1 as a head coach in the regular season so I wouldn’t take what he says to serious lol.
I can’t wait for George Pickens to go off this season 1500 yards and 6 touchdowns now that he actually has someone that can get him the ball and I hope he makes you guys eat your words don’t doubt my man
I don’t know how AQ Shipley thinks the Browns won’t be able to compete in the North. Most of the defense is returning.

@@aaronclay4665 Soooooo you’re not gonna give the Chiefs defense any credit?

Steelers made the playoffs with Rudolph and Pickett😂😂😂
Browns made it last season starting Watson and 4 other bums what’s your point

And Mitch who nearly ended the Steelers Season, as he went 0-2. Thank God for Rudolph.
@@michaelrichardson6852we didn't have the #1 Defense and a top 5 OL.
Deshaun beat the ravens from behind with 1 shoulder but he hasn’t shown anything for the browns. He was 5-1 before he got injured
They were behind bc watson threw a pick 6 and started the game around 0-11. The defense scored in the 4th quarter and helped them come back.
It’s so easy to hate puttspuke and they’re not winning a damn thing!
The Browns made the playoffs having started 5 QB’s in 23 and had the best defense in the league.
Watson doesn’t have to be anything other than adequate for the Browns to win the North.
These guys are talking out of their azz, from the heart not their heads.
9-8 narrative is so tired for the steelers they've gone it exactly 1 time
“D’uh show me one drive”
The fat guys are wrong.
Hey dude, thanks. @Clean Pocket pin this for me.
Wtf is Gruden taking about? Bengals will be .500? They went 9-8 with a first place schedule and their qb being healthy for essentially like 3 games
Facts
His girlfriend or his wife... There's a reason he's on this couch
Him not knowing that Ciara is his wife, isn’t racist. I don’t like Gruden either, but everyone can’t know or care to know everyone else’s business. To say that’s racist, is one of the most ignorant things I’ve heard in a while.
This comment was soooo disrespectful, I can only assume that he doesn’t like Russ and that there might be some racism there!

No division is even comparable to this division

Browns win AFC north, you guys are sleeping on my team for no reason
Pittsburgh is (on paper) remarkably better than last year and went 10-7 with 3 bums playing QB in one of the worst coordinated offenses of all time. Pickens literally had over 1000 yards last year with them. What the actual hell are these clowns talking about 😂😂
Trash
Bengals went 9-8 without Burrow for half the season against the toughest schedule in the NFL last year. They're not going 8-9 with a full healthy season of Burrow against a last place schedule
And Nick Chubb gonna blow everybody's mind ........better then ever
Paying these guys like Game changers before you have any proof that they can actually carry a team when the contract kicks in is always a mistake,
Newest adds to that list....Justin Herbert and now Trevor Lawrence.
Cincy writing down all these receipts yall keep talking. I love it. Make this milky show eat crow.
Keep hating the browns. We love watching you guys eat crow in December.
They clowning if they think the Bengals aren't the ones to fear.
Im so used to the hate for my Browns it does even faze me anymore it doesn't matter what we do we still will be the most hated. Im cool with that.
Deshaun literally shit on the ravens at Baltimore, but yeah zero drives to show anything
You mean the game he got hurt for the season and put up a whopping 213 yards? Ya wow that was worth everything they gave up.
Just face it, Watson scammed you guys and you got a mediocre QB for Tom Brady price
Fields hasn’t done a single thing to demonstrate that he’s even franchise QB material, let alone good enough to unseat a guy like Russ.

Fields has a slight advantage in rushing. Russ is superior in every other department. That small rushing advantage isn’t nearly enough to compensate for Russ’s superiority as a passer, especially if we discuss 4th quarter metrics.
If wediscount Russ’s Denver years, Russ’s 3-year average stats would be better than Fields’s by an even larger margin, even if we include two injury years in Seattle (2016 and 2021) that produced outlier statistics.
While both take a lot of sacks, Russ has taken them due to bad/inconsistent O-Lines and pure stubbornness on his part. Fields takes them more because he isn’t a great reader of defenses. His O-Lines have been better than Russ’s.

I think it's going to be the nastiest, meanest, and dramatic year with the most upset games ever for the North this year. All four teams are real killers in my book, has me 🙏

Change title to " How to Say u Use Lazy Narratives and are Clueless without Saying You're Morons "
Garbage take on the Browns.
The ravens getting Henry isn't a game changer....the ravens were always a good running team. Most teams are hoping the ravens give the ball to Henry...then they don't have to worry about Lamar Jackson
This looks like a GOP convention

Around 500?? This is why y'all are on a podcast and not on a field ANYWHERE 😅😂😅😂
Who cares what they think? Pittsburgh Steelers are the KINGS of the AFC North!!!
