I also wanted to mention to the both of you, is that I was watching a fishing show when I was a teen, and the host showed us an rc boat that could catch fish, just need a couple of feet of fishing line and a lure.

Anyone on here on the edge about this boat I'll tell you about it. It's fast, it has no replacement parts when it breaks. It's disposable, but so worth having. I have a few boats I run on a river near where I live, and this is my go to now. I'm on my third one now in 4 years but only 1 failed. I lost the other to human stupidity. For the cost, you can't beat it. Get one, especially for under 100. It is worth it.
I got one of these in the Spring and it's a nice boat for the price. When I put my Skyrc GSM020 bluetooth gps under the hatch, I get max speed of 20mph every time I try it.

The alpharev 608 is basically the same boat (it’s the one I own currently) these boats are really fun for the $ I run it with my nephew and he loves it. The only thing they don’t like are Lilly pads. They surprisingly stay snag free unless you really get into the weeds. It’s worth buying for sure!

I have the Alpha Rev version of this boat, love it. It does seem to run better in the ocean than freshwater, I suspect because of the salt in the water. I did notice that the battery on mind was hit and miss when it came to holding a charge. I think I will probably get some hobby grade batteries for it and see if that doesn't solve my problem.

Eww...Deans plugs in 2024? The heck is wrong with these guys??? Amass XT60s are much better and quite affordable. Much easier to solder as well. LIion isn't necessarily bad, but would be better if it was Lipo. Oh well. Not a terrible little boat for the price.
