You’d think hitting stumps, etc, would cause more harm to the ‘forward drive’ than the traditional ‘pusher’ motors.

How can it get better mpg when it seems to me like theres more resistance due to the props out front vs..........idk

The props touch undisturbed water first and the thrust moves laminarly around the back of the drive. It's more efficient. Dont hit anything though lol
