We had a tornado warning here 2 days ago in NW LA. I was outside watching when the winds started picking up A LOT and it looked like one could form outside my neighborhood. I ran inside and about 2 mins later, a 600+ lb limb broke and fell from the tree in my front yard. Houses past me had all kinds of wind damage. No reported tornado but we had high winds and it's coming back tonight. Looks like we had 3 confirmed within about 5 miles of where I'm at. 6 in this area total.
The shocking thing is all of these houses will be built in the same way making them vulnerable to another storm . yes you can say that "things don't matter ,we can always rebuild ."
