Have just discovered your tutorials and felt I must comment. So enjoyable, everything clearly explained, simple colours etc. So many "tutorials" consist of just watching someone splash paint around with no helpful commentary as to what paper, brushes , paint etc. Please don't stop sharing your skill and knowledge. I am trying to get motivated to paint again after a long time and find your videos inspiring. Thank you.
Wow, thank you for such kind words. I have a ton of classes on UA-cam, and when you run out of that - there are many more on SkillShare too. But I also continue filming more ;) so you will get totally motivated and will be painting like a pro in no time!
I've started to take up watercolor as a quarantine hobby (after having done almost no painting for 7 years), and this tutorial was very easy to follow and well-explained. I look forward to checking out more of your videos!
Lovely. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am going to try this out. I appreciate you taking the time out for these tutorials. I love that you explain beforehand the tools and colours you are using. Your style is easy to follow and your instructions are simple and succint.
I have barely any art skill or talent, but this tutorial is super good! I managed to create a passable piece of art with very inexpensive materials. Great work
Haven't really checked out Autumn Alley yet. Though this tutorial suits me just fine. As it's Springtime right now... Thanks for sharing you Amazing Artwork!
No skills required for this type of painting, which is a good introduction to the basics of watercolours. Also good for sketchbook techniques. Following Ekaterina’s demonstrations is a nice way to explore the world of paint and water which will take you to deeper levels of this wonderful medium. Happy Painting 🎨
Great work..I'm watching a few . I'd love to see you continue doing videos. I'm new to watercolors I am wanting to paint a castle tower with a lattice wall of pink Rose's. I'd love an example to go by. Blessings health and joy
Ekaterina I'm loving your videos and is helping me to practice using water colors. Thank you for sharing your talents! I tagged you on instaura to show you the one I did.
thank you for this tutorial! I also made my own and its not that perfect but I can say,it's almost!😄 thank you! please do more landscape painting with simple techniques.hihi
Your way of teaching is slow and informative. Question. How do you make Sepia if you dont have it and also the permanent pink. Thank you again I love the idea of perspective painting
Hi, just for you I made a little drawing on how to mix Sepia. Find me on Instagram @watercolorclasses you will find it there. Any pink though is not very simple to make, but by diluting red with water or preferably mixing in white color will help.
Teodora Cveticanin I absolutely think that Anyone could be fantastic at watercolor or creating any kind of art as long as they practice. Watercolor is a beautiful choice for creating stunning paintings. And thanks to websites like UA-cam, you can actually learn as much as you would if you were to pay for classes, but for free! There are so many resources online now to help you learn. This is one of my favorite channels because she actually takes the time go explain everything she is doing and the materials that she is using go create her amazing paintings. She is very kind and will take the time to answer questions as well. Best of luck to you. I hope that you decide to pick up a brush and some watercolor, or any paint you choose, and have fun! I hope this helps. Blessings, Stacy
Thank you Stacy for your kind words. I couldn't agree more, you can become good at ANYTHING, as long there is desire and enough time to practice. Don't be scare to make mistakes, because something good might come out of experimentation. Looking forward to seeing your work.
Hi, I attempted your tutorial (I only started painting in October) and I posted my attempt on my Instagram. How do I tag you? I can't find you on Instagram? My trees looked like they were falling over but I really loved creating the blossom.
This is absolutely brilliant, Ekaterina. So simple, so expressive and yet so beautiful.

I used "Permanent Rose"
Could you try thi with the 4 seasons?
Wow that is really lovely good job 💕💝💗⚘🌷🥀 and I have a question do you think that any one could do watercoloring and be good at it if they practised?
