I think is it kind of weird that the Saturn version is supposed to be the "definitive version" by Capcom yet Capcom makes Cutman and Woodman non-canon.
@@Overseer190 That's the thing, right? It isn't an emulation, it is a port, so can't they just port the PS1 version but also add extra features like Cutman and Woodman? They managed to do this to some games like X5 and X6 where they actually straight up removed some bugs and changed enemy AI, granted, it is a huge step up, a large gap in difference, but I don't think adding or removing bosses and new features would be that hard to do.
@@Overseer190 AC was actually a emulation as well, hacked together though. LC2 looks like a native port based off of the fast loading times and the fact that the rock man 8 are unzipped in the data folder that holds the rest of the collection.
This version of the theme just reminds me that I wish I had the skill to mix together boss variants for all the classic themes.
The percussion instruments could've been used for a Powered Up-style battle intermission.
1:20 - Those PADS. So rich.
my favorite part
I'm so happy that yt knows what to throw at me. Well done I like to those deconstructions!
Thank you!
I wish this music in Rockman complete works

Capcom likes using the PS1 version because it’s easier to port over, even though the MM8 for the Saturn only uses one CPU for the entire game.

@@razi_man they could’ve easily done the saturn version for MMAC because it was a port. MMLC2 however is emulated

Wait i thought the songs in the Saturn version of 8 was steamed audio? That's what pretty much every source says, is it actually sequenced instead?
Yes! It's actually sequenced
