I make copies of the pages so I can still use both sides. They actually copy pretty well on my 3:1 home printer. You could probably go down to your local copy center too.
Thank you for the flipthroughs! I saw a book at Megan Quinlan and fell in love. But it's like you said: not knowing a bit what is inside makes it difficult to choose. I just told my husband I want the 'Makes you go hmmm'book for my birthday. He watched a bit and doesn't understand why I should cut a beautiful collaged book to make a new collage. Ah, if only he knew 😊. Perhaps I can show him after my birthday. Greetings Marjan 🌷
@@DeniseLush Tomorrow my book will arrive. It is not my birthday yet, but I couldn't wait any longer (so did my husband, I was talking too much about the book 😂). Yes cutting it seems difficult allready...I could make a copy, but my printer is an oldie and doesn't print beautful ánd the paper is a different quality. Well I will see what happens, first I will start with looking. A lot! You have been brave enough to cut, whoohoo! Wishing you lots of fun working with this books! Marjan 🌷
Thank you so much for showing us what's inside these books. I've been looking at so many online, and I was having the same problem trying to pick out which ones to order. I went to a bookstore recently, looking for ephemera books and the employees had no idea what I was talking about! This really helps a lot.
Lol at the store not knowing what you were talking about. I have another 2 books on the way to me. Won't be here until Monday. Will do a flip through of those as well.
in the book itself it says in some cases gel printing may not work because the pages are not glossy. It says it depends on where your book was printed (which manufacturing facility).
I found out about these books when I watched a megan quinlan video. I bought the fairies and dragons one. Love it! Thanks for the flip through of these.
Thnx so much for the flip through. These books are amazing, however I don't like where they have cut off some of the sides of the pictures, and I really can't understand why they would have done that.
Denise, I can't thank you enough for sharing your books with all of us. I've been collaging surreal art for about 1 year now and I love your work. I stumbled upon your channel tonight and I love your style; I'm a new subscriber and cannot wait to see more of your art. Gals look at my work and wonder how I pull it all together, but after watching you, I'm very intrigued as to what images you will pull to make another amazing piece of art. As far as images being on one side, that's a good excuse to grab a second book 🤣🤣 TFS these books! xo
oh thank you for your kind words. I am so glad you stumbled upon my channel! I do a mixture of things on my channel. I go through phases but I always love to come back to collage. Hopefully the other stuff doesn't bore you too much. lol Thanks for subscribing!
@DeniseLush I don't think I could be bored with your work ........ I love it all. I broke down and ordered a couple books and cannot wait to get them. Of course 2 you do not have, so I'll be sure to do a show and tell on them when they come in. I ordered the flower power book and the landscape one ....... I think those I could work with quite nicely. Have a wonderful, very crafty, and blessed weekend. 🥰 ~ Barbie xo
Thank you! I didn’t know these books existed and I love them. I love TH vintage but I’m totally with you on the funky. I liked the same images you pointed out. Can’t wait to see what you do with them.
@@DeniseLush Heh, heh, heh! You’re not alone….I’ve always liked things a little off-beat. I’m still learning collage and I find using a funky image or color (I like bright colors, too) makes it easier for me to let go of my penchant for perfection. The sky is the limit. With vintage, there is kind of a theme to follow, however, that being said, there’s no reason not to mix the two.
Thank you very much for sharing this with us. I don’t know how much they cost in your country, but in Belgium they are reaaaaally expensive. So when you don’t see the inside it holds back to buy. Although I don’t think I would buy them for now, because I wouldn’t know how to use them yet, the pages are so pretty to look at 😍
Thanks for the flip through. Amazon has so many collage books. I would like to buy some but I have no idea what the images are like in the inside, so I usually don't end up buying them. The collage soup books look like they will be fun to play with. I can't wait to see what you will do with them. 😊
They should show the pages...it doesn't make sense. I looked on Amazon today to see what they had in the Collage Soup books...they look very interesting and expensive! Haha I would like to have the Hares and Chairs book ( I'm a big rabbit fan). Thanks for showing us 3 of the books.
If you download these from her page directly you can print just what you want to use and the fee is far far less than buying the entire book.. and you can print just one side. I find it much better to buy and download them.. she also offers freebie pages.
In the book it says: Not for reproduction in whole. Individual elements may be reproduced. Questions about copyright use, contact collagesoup@gmail.com
the coupon is not for the books. I was talking about Arrtx Markers. I will be putting out a video soon of those and have a coupon for those. You can find Collage Soup books on Amazon.
I make copies of the pages so I can still use both sides. They actually copy pretty well on my 3:1 home printer. You could probably go down to your local copy center too.
I've done that with a few. A lot of the time it works out that I really don't care about what's on the other side.

lol Some of them are hard to cut up. The latest one I could I had a really difficult time snipping into it.

I have another 2 books on the way to me. Won't be here until Monday. Will do a flip through of those as well.
I got the free Happy 2024 to print out, and I think I will get some of the .99 ebooks so I can print one-sided. .99 seems like a pretty good deal.
Yes that is a great price!
This helped me a lot, thank you! I love quirky, too😃
Glad it helped!
Thanks for the flips! I enjoy these books! Can’t wait to see what you create with them.
You are so welcome!
That second book! Runs to put on Amazon wishlist…
YES! That one is my favourite!
They look like they might be good for image transfers on a gelling plate.

Remember *mischief circus* … do any of these remind you of it? Reminds me of it
No it actually doesn't. And I have SO MANY from Mischief Circus. Unless it was the ones I didn't buy. lol I bought mostly Crow About Studio's designs.
Thnx so much for the flip through. These books are amazing, however I don't like where they have cut off some of the sides of the pictures, and I really can't understand why they would have done that.
maybe the source that the picture came from was cut off too. That's my guess.

Can paints be applied over these pages?
I haven't tried yet.
If I like both sides of the paper I photocopy one side onto good quality copy paper.
I've thought about that. I guess as long as it's for personal use, no harm right?
Yes, I only use it in my art journal@@DeniseLush

You can find Collage Soup books on Amazon.
Thanks so much for showing us ❤️
My pleasure 😊
❤❤❤
Hate that they are two sided :/
it is a bummer.
I never understand why they publish cut out collage books double sided. Makes no sense
I know. Dina does it too with her collage books.
I saw another artist transferring the images on Gelli plates so both sides were used.
I think I saw that too. @@Kinderoo
They print on both sides because Amazon has a limit on blank pages per book. You can only have 4 blank pages per 100 pages. A pattern might work.
@@MixedMediaArtByTrinathat makes sense. If I love it, I’ll buy 2!!
