Jason Bateman's ability to evoke hilarity and menace with a totally straight delivery reminds me of the only other actor with the same talent Dabney Coleman. It impresses the hell out of me and I love it.

I rarely enjoy American comedies but I love Melissa and I can genuinely recommend Spy (Melissa and Sandra Bullock) and Heat (Melissa, Jude Law and Jason Statham) to watch next if you want to laugh some more.

Aw, man. They left out my favorite don't laugh scene: Melissa McCarthy is reassuring the wife that "he was a perfect gentleman," and nothing sexual happened between them on the trip. I don't know how Amanda did not even smile during that scene
