You where talking about Heartland was such a groundbreaking family show for Canada. But Australia also had a heart loving outdoor family show as well. An that's the "Mccloud's daughters" ! They had a decent run themselves of 8 seasons if I remember right. Was still very sad when they wrapped it up though. Anyways not knocking Heartland at all I love the show, But Mccloud's Daughters deserves its accolades as well. I watched a video of some of the old cast and they where discussing a holiday play they put on for charity. It would be so awesome if they would do a tv reunion or better yet bring the show back! 😊

Lauren, if you ever get the chance to interview more cast members: I've watched a number of episodes and for the most part it is extremely well done. Great chemistry between cast, interaction between animals, well written (and credible) story lines, awesome background scenery etc. But... ...there are 2 issues that really bug me, the first being that the DVD video quality is absolutely atrocious. Maybe due to interlacing, but this show needs a high quality bluray release with high quality video/audio. Second thing; they have serious errors matching truck engine noises to what the truck actually is. Tim's truck is a Ford v10 according to the sticker on the side, so it's a gas engine but in the video it sounds like a diesel. Nathan's truck is a Chevy v8 vortech, also a gas engine which they make sound like a diesel. I've seen chevy suburban from one of Amy's clients driving off in what sounds like a diesel, and if my memory is correct there they do not make diesels for those suburbans. So some serious editing issues there as any truck nut would be able to pick out. Alberta (where it's filmed) is absolutely loaded with truck people so ... one would think this would have been caught and fixed long ago. Maybe you could pass that on to somebody on that show? :) I'm only half serious of course, but it would really improve it from my perspective!
Another fan jumping in here... DVD quality is a complaint I have heard from some people... I'd first question the *source* of the purchase, as there are some bootlegs out there masquerading as authentic versions. All the DVDs I've ever bought were fine.
@@00TheRealTC My DVD's were purchased from amazon, they're "official". Watching episode clips on youtube or wherever they're officiallly streamed from, it's a huge increase in quality. The DVD's just don't have high quality in them, even when compared to other TV series released on DVD.

It will certainly be Refreshing to watch Episodes of Amber become a more Mature woman and Better Wife to her Husband(Ty) and Mother to her daughter(Lyndy) FIRST! Georgie is "always" interfering and demanding Amy's attention for whatever/whenever she wants her to do something for her...usually with some "Horse"(or whatever) all the time. Amy throws Lyndy to anyone available whenever Georgie wants her to do something(so sad). Also, we hope Amber would better control her unstable/dysfunctional Anger Outbursts yelling at Ty(Luke & Lyndy there), her Selfishness(always wanting/having it Her way), Controlling and Miracle Girl Syndrome Attitude and just maybe you & Ty could have a successful family and business life. Especially since Amy is suppose to be(according to Heartland script writers) "Better Than" Adorable Luke's Beautiful Mother Andrea! Luke & His mother's Beautiful Loving Bond will "Never" be broken! It's the Best on Heartland EVER!!!.between mother & child!!!! Love Ty & Luke's bond. Graham(Ty) Is The Reason Amber(amy) has become the "Million Dollar Entrepreneur" of Heartland. Maggie Young not sure if you have kids but that exactly how alot parents of this day an age are! Very few parents get the luxury of a stay at home parent or mom. Most families are dual income. Meaning both parents have to work to survive and pay bills. Wich also means children get passed around to whom ever they can find to watch them. Wich in most cases it's usually the grandparents.

The reason Graham isn't on as much he choses to be off and you cant fault him for that. I do think that things go better with both of them on at the same time so we can see them grow. If they don't get away once in a while they will get burnt out. I love Amber on the show but I like the watching Amy and Ty interaction more. It is what makes it a great family drama.
