There's only one type of acid, in the entire universe, that gold reacts to. It's called Aqua Regia (Royal waater). It's a mix of hydrochloric acid and nitric acid. I've made it before though, using Muratic acid (12% hydrochloric) and Amonium Nitrate. So it can be made other ways. I suppose that in the case of the show, once the gold was dissolved, the acid acts as an electrolyte in a battery, transferring the acid to the anode or cathode. From there the reaction would open the gate, dumping the acid. There is one thing about Aqua Regia though. It can't be stored, so it would need to be replenished, at least once a day.
I didn’t figure this out but saw that Rennod spelled backwards is Donner. That’s the last name of the director of Goonies, Richard Donner. On another note, if you look up The Tri-Wing S-91x Pegasus Starfighter you will see a space ship. That ship was designed by Porsche and Lucasfilm and used briefly in this episode.
Nice loop lasso. I'm wondering if this technology could be useful for anything else, like engineering? Anyways, Merry Christmas. Very good episode. I like the easter eggs, lie the Hut. Could that be Rota the Hut? I hear that he will be in The Mandalorian and Grogu movie. I like the banking clan. Somehow they survived, the restraining bolt (last one I recall was used on Chopper's robot friend in Rebels), the Qui Gon quote, etc..
i agree about the giant aliens. Usually species that size would be animals, not a sentient species. i hope he comes back for the next episode, and he has a ship to chase them. We have never seen ships designed around alien species that big. We've seen little aliens, but few vehicles designed for their scale, other than the Jawa's Sandcrawler's cockpit and the Clone Wars episode where that alien piloted the droid team and hid in one of them.
I love this My Daughter and I also love Star Wars together good job
Malachi might look like his father, but She truly is SHANES daughter. Lol. I really see her in him. They a great duo on screen.
KB worked on his circuits thats why he didn't attack KB said that
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Great reactions and thanks for continuing to share Star Wars with us. 🎄
This one actress looks familiar to me too. I like this episode very much. Cool reaction and discussion.

The actress you said looked familiar is Julie Ann Emery, she played Betsy Kettleman on Better Call Saul.
