Question. Are u subtracting 4 from the (Y) value because it says down? What if it says up would I add ?

Yes that’s right it it goes down it’s negative which means you will subtract and if it’s going up it’s positive so you would add

Because if you start at 2 above zero and go down 4 units from there, you would be 2 below zero. If you type 2 - 4 into any calculator, you can verify that it equals negative 2.
