Time slot 6-16 to the end is the main statement. Nice to see the points rotates 90 degrees about the origin and the co ordinate are interchanging and those are taking sign according to the new quadrant those r shifted.

4:24 actually i have a more simple way of rotating clockwise and counterclockwise 90 degrees about the origin because some students can not imagine how will they rotate so this is a simple way: for 90 degrees clockwise rotation about the origin we can swap x and y and then change the sign of y and for counter clockwise we will also change places of x and y but then change the sign of x

i have a question 🙋‍♀️ So it doesn’t matter what sign the original points are you must still convert them to both a positive number? because all my numbers are negative and when i did it my solution did not match any of my answer choice so something is obviously not right my original coordinates of my quadrilateral was G-(-5,-1) H-(-3,-2) J-(-3,-5) and K-(-5,-4) and so when u said to switch the so i put the “ x’s “where the “ y’s “ are to and the “ y’s “ where the “ x’s “ go and it was wrong so i would really appreciate your help

First, figure out which quadrant you are going to. If you are moving to quad 1, the x and y are both positive (+,+). Quad 2 (-,+) quad 3 (-,-) and quad 4(+,-). For 90 degree rotations you do switch the numbers but the signs depends on what quadrant you move to.
Because all your original values are negative, you are starting in quadrant 3. So a 90 degree rotation would place you in quad 2 going clockwise and quad 4 going counterclockwise. So G(-5,-1) would be (-1,5) in quad 2 or (1,-5) in quad 4.
