Oh yes, that song was for my generation for sure, i was 16 years old in 1989. Skid Row's the first band i ever saw live when they opened for Aerosmith on the Pump Tour, january 4th 1990 at the Montreal Forum.
Thing is he can sing it, the dude is just fucking around. Well to be fair he's playing for the crowd rather than for technical perfection. Still that is why I don't like most live recordings.
Bless you, Suzi!!! Great song, Skid Row headlining and Pantera as an opening band was my frst concert as a kid. Great show. Love all 3 of their albums with Bach.
What a banging song!!! This song first hit me in my teens in the mid 90s and it's been a favourite mine ever since. Still features in my workout playlist 🔥🔥
Since Bach left I didn't really listen to Skid Row but I listened to a few songs to be curious how they sounded n I was disappointed they sounded like a Hard Rock band not Metal Band with attitude .they lost their kick ass fire in their music :-(
Fun fact- Sabastian Bach became lead singer of Skid Row after performing at a wedding and was discovered by Jon Bon Jovi's parents. They set up the meeting between him and the band and the rest is history.
One of ther best in a long line of Gen X anthems. We are still the youth gone wild. Just another song declaring our battle cry. Leave us alone... You don't like us we don't fucking care!
For me this and Piece of Me were the two best tracks on the debut LP. However no matter how powerful these were the smooth ballads 18 and Life and I Remember You were the most popular on the radio. Ballads sell.
such an amazing band they caught lightning in a bottle for a few albums then sadly things broke up a bit the album sebastian bach did in the early 2000's for his dad was f'n amazing imo better than anything he did with skid row
Most Japanese can speak a little bit of English because they are taught it like we are taught Spanish and French here in the US , more than 135 million Japanese can speak some English
Back when they came out they were a Heavy Metal band but their newer stuff now is Hard rock an boppy like Van Halen or bon Jovi .an loste as a fan now bcuz their sound isn't as heavy as it used to be
Sorry, don’t get me wrong, the new singer Eric is very good, I’d even say a great vocalist, but doesn’t even come close to Sebastian. Especially when it comes to getting the crowd hyped up. Just my opinion of course.
I’ve always loved Skid Row, but lately I’ve been disappointed in Sebastian Bach because how he has attacked Ronnie Radke and Falling in Reverse over the use of laptops with programs because he doesn’t understand how much computer programs control big live shows nowadays
Let's hear him after a few years of covering their first 3 albums...... Erik is a good singer. He can hit the notes but I think he lacks the edge and power that Baz has. Baz singing these songs for 35 years and still never fails to take the chance of hitting them live. No, he can't hit it every night like back then but he still has the edge and power. The only thing that's inconsistent nowadays is the clarity at the top when he goes for that F5 (I think it is) at the end of I Remember You.
@@jasonmatthews806 I agree you nailed it. Bach has way more power. A few years ago he could hit F5 sharp and G5’s great live especially in 2011. I heard him doing B5 flat a few years ago live with Guns N’ Roses also which was great and had power
I’m 54 and still a Youth Gone Wild.. this is my generations JAM!! Such an anthem!!! 🔥🔥🤘🤘😎🥰🙌
I'm 45 and almost wore out my cassette of this album.
I'm with ya Sister! I'll be 54 in May. Seen them 3 times. I miss Bas as their vocalist. Great music. Great times!
Im 33 since were All saying our age 😂
I'm 60 YO and still jam Skid Row too
generation of full blooded rocknroll, unlike now
Oh yes, that song was for my generation for sure, i was 16 years old in 1989. Skid Row's the first band i ever saw live when they opened for Aerosmith on the Pump Tour, january 4th 1990 at the Montreal Forum.
Love it live it's so raw and no auto tune kick ass band live still can rock keep rocking
Thing is he can sing it, the dude is just fucking around. Well to be fair he's playing for the crowd rather than for technical perfection. Still that is why I don't like most live recordings.
Never saw a live version of this song. A banger.
Hi, nice to see you again. From The Charismatic Voice.
I saw them and Bon Jovi in 89 in Pensacola Florida. EPIC concert. My very first concert as well.
Sebastian Bach had it all back then: gorgeous guy with the best voice of his generation. He and the rest of the band were mind-blowing
Bless you, Suzi!!! Great song, Skid Row headlining and Pantera as an opening band was my frst concert as a kid. Great show. Love all 3 of their albums with Bach.
What a banging song!!!

Skid Row with Sebastian Bach kicks ass!! Sebastian Bach is a vocal GOD!!
Since Bach left I didn't really listen to Skid Row but I listened to a few songs to be curious how they sounded n I was disappointed they sounded like a Hard Rock band not Metal Band with attitude .they lost their kick ass fire in their music :-(
Baz was hell out of rock star👊
Brings me back to my childhood since I heard this when the album came out in 89 when I was 4 years old because of my older sister
Can i just say she is beautiful love the hair color
Fun fact-

Love this song ❤
One of ther best in a long line of Gen X anthems. We are still the youth gone wild. Just another song declaring our battle cry. Leave us alone... You don't like us we don't fucking care!
The only thing ringing in my head when this song ends is...I WANT MY MTV!!!
God Bless both of you :)
Best live version of this song is from 1991 or 1992, also from Japan, live at the Budokan…awesome introduction and insane energy.
Bless you my lady🤣kick ass song Skid and San was the best
Phenomenal song album
Bless you
Headbanging hurts now that I'm old but when this song comes on i say fuck it!
For me this and Piece of Me were the two best tracks on the debut LP. However no matter how powerful these were the smooth ballads 18 and Life and I Remember You were the most popular on the radio. Ballads sell.
Bless you!
No phones, all fists!
God bless you

Some of Sabastion bach stuff is heavier then new skid row stuff .Bach hasn't lost his intensity
Most Japanese can speak a little bit of English because they are taught it like we are taught Spanish and French here in the US , more than 135 million Japanese can speak some English
Them G - We are the Youth Gone Wild into Middle Age!
The closing song for the opening act... RIGHT! peace!
Love you guys Bill from Ohio
Youth of the nation-pod
Gen X. Best music. Best times.... God I loved it!
Back when they came out they were a Heavy Metal band but their newer stuff now is Hard rock an boppy like Van Halen or bon Jovi .an loste as a fan now bcuz their sound isn't as heavy as it used to be
You should've reacted to the live version of this song in Budokon
Travis why is that guy way better-looking than us
Bad assboys
Why onley old skidrow songs they still produce good music
Sorry, don’t get me wrong, the new singer Eric is very good, I’d even say a great vocalist, but doesn’t even come close to Sebastian. Especially when it comes to getting the crowd hyped up. Just my opinion of course.
Facts man Erik is good but Bach is untouchable
Still owes me ten bucks
Awesome band, but to bad lead singer left to start he's own band 🎤🥁🎸🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great song, but not a very good live version. Listen to the studio version to truly appreciate it.
I’ve always loved Skid Row, but lately I’ve been disappointed in Sebastian Bach because how he has attacked Ronnie Radke and Falling in Reverse over the use of laptops with programs because he doesn’t understand how much computer programs control big live shows nowadays
I think the new Skid Row singer is much better. Bach is a legend, don't get me wrong. Erik is just a better singer!
Eric may have high voice but no style
He isn’t
Let's hear him after a few years of covering their first 3 albums......
