  • The Federal Reserve's potential rate cut could lower borrowing costs, boosting consumer spending and business investment while making equities more attractive compared to bonds. This move may weaken the US dollar, impact inflation, and affect global investment flows. However, it could also lower returns for savers.

The Fed is undoubtedly responsible for the present catch-up efforts, as they were first too slow to control inflation. The pandemic, supply-chain issues, are all contributing reasons to the impending inflationary perfect storm. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $500K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

High intrest rate in the US means good return on investment in the US. When low interest rate in the US means less return and hence investors will look for other developing economies for investments.

My wife is already panicking, so many questions! will the rate cut lead to inflation? I'm very worried about my $1million stock portfolio losing value. What strategies should I be employing in my portfolio right now?

In times like these, it's crucial for investors to stay vigilant and prepare for potential uncertainties. Therefore, it's important to find the right asset allocation and consider working with an advisor if you’re unsure how to navigate these market conditions.

No doubt, having the right plan is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 80% rise from early this year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take till Q2 2025.

If fed rate cuts were so rosy as being explained then why not keep the rates as low as zero and ket world enjoy investments in terms of dollars and let American economy enjoy all growth and investment that the presenter talks about😂

I think you don't study economics. If fed cut the interest rates then the spending of people's and business increases but the inflation also increases because of demand and that makes things even more expensive.
